Re: New Nintendo 3DS System Update released: Fixes exploits involving use of web brow

A new menu update for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems has been released....While these exploits did not work on the New Nintendo 3DS due to their different internet browser to the original Nintendo 3DS and 2DS, the update is also available for them.
I thought this was an update specifically for the New Nintendo 3DS. It turns out it is a new update for the old 3DS that just happens to be available for the New 3DS.

Oh, yeah, I guess the title is a bit confusing. Not the first time there's been an issue like this with the New Nintendo 3DS's name...

It probably has more to do with the exploit people found that allowed them to bypass the system's region locking.

Something nintendo should have never got rid of in the 1st place as all it does intensifies efforts to crack security especslly on hand helds in fact it one the main reasons SONY went nearly completely region free on the last 4 consoles (both handheld and the ps3 and 4) and microsoft went region free with the X1
