Making a team in Black/White is sort of hard considering that pretty much every Pokemon (except for Miruhoggu) has potential.

At this stage, this is incredibly hard to do.

In addition to this, it's just more fun to experience the game for yourself, and to catch and train Pokemon that simply look cool to you. There are very few particularly bad Pokemon in this generation, stat-wise.

I agree with this.

Also, I hope it's not too off topic but, do Foreign dex entries still work? Like, from a migrated Foreign Pokemon from Gen IV.

Nothing big, but I was wondering about it.

Does anyone else seem that its ridcilous that hihidaruma doesn't switch into daruma mode until the end of the turn phase. You would think it would be more helpful and overall more useful if the ability activated the second right after the HP goes below 50% .

Is Kokoromori any good? Its stats really are quite bad; besides Speed, the only thing thats even decent is its Sp. Attack. Im going to use one in Black, and I just want to know what you guys think of it.

I use one.

Not gonna lie, weakest member of my team, and even Psychic fails to OHKO most Fighting and Poison types, but it's fast, Attract has helped me out of a few jams, and its weakened attacks helped me catch Pokemon too.

So from what you're saying, it's not ridiculous for a Hihidaruma to transform into Daruma Mode first (wasting time on changing the sprite animation) even if it is OHKO'd?

I'm not sure, but for those who have played the games so far, is Hihidaruma with Daruma Mode even worth it? The problem with the ability is that it switches the base Attack stats around (meaning that its 140 base physical Attack is now a horrendous 30).

It gains more defense on both sides but loses speed. Also, Hihidaruma learns a lot of physical attacks through level up and only a few special moves (Overheat, Psychic). However, a normal Hihidaruma has a poor Special Attack stat so it is almost impossible for it to be a mixed attacker. Even if you make this decision, Hihidaruma's speed at Daruma Mode will be too low for it to attack most of the time. I'm not sure if Daruma Mode is worth all this risk.

I believe it to be more appropriate to last until the end of the turn, similar to how some other abilities (i.e. Speed Boost) work.

you did not understand what i was saying. i never said it doesn't end after each turn i said that the ability doesn't activate till the end of the turn meaning if your at 1 HP you won't transform until the next turn.

And right now just beacuse of the ability activating at the end phase of the turn instead of the second the HP goes below 50 no hihidaruma with daruma doesn't seem to be a viable option as of yet. If they ever fix it through a download via wifi or something , which makes it activate the second the HP goes below 50% then yes hihidaruma could be a viable option but thats hard to say.

If hihidaruma can someone gain speed before he changes form then he could easily destroy the opponents. IE if he uses that weak fire move that raises his speed each time. so by the time he's below 50% he'll be so fast that even though he may be low on HP he always goes first and uses his hi power special attacks

Smuglord. Just saying.

Daikenki seems to have a strap on its helmet. It surprisingly makes the design look more complete.

Ah

Also, does anyone know yet if the Starter (If shiny) Appears shiny in the select screen or do we have to wait until we battle? (This doesn't really matter until I'm SRing my English Black to get a shiny Pokabu, but still if anyone knows, I'd be happy)

Ulgamoth? I'm still calling it Urgamoth

But, I don't think it is an official romanization. I think someone just added it.

Yeah, someone just added it to the Japanese trademark database... search for ULGAMOTH, JALORDA or JANOVY and you shall find.
