Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

You know, as much as we've all heard that story, I have yet to see a real baby swan. I'm dead serious, I want to know what one looks like, but I'm not going to cooperate because I'm too lazy right now, and I could wiki it if I wanted to.

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

I'm hoping it's rabbity, not piggish, honestly. I'd like to get a really nice cute rabbit starter.

Rabbits are too loved. We've had enough rabbit Pokemon.

Gimme a piglet-armadillo Pokemon. Pigs are adorable.

I'd like one that actually MOVES like a rabbit though, not some Bipedal stuffed animal.

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

I think the silohuettes kind of disprove that, don't they? Unless we've gonna have bipedal donkey/tiger.
Yes, the Tiger would be the bipedal one.

Anyway, it's all unverified information, so treat it like a rumor, don't take it to heart. I mean, the possibility is there, but there's many different combinations that can be concocted.

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

The longer this drags, on, the more I'm convinced I'm not gonna like the left starter. Not sure why, but I don't want it to be a bird or a grass type (with one exception, but I'd rather not go look for it now) I'm really hoping it'll at least be water, or I'll have no clue which one I'll pick. But who knows? Maybe I'll be surprised and they'll all be cool. I hope for the latter

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

The right one will be the Water Starter

Its final form will look kinda like Grizzmon, and it will be a Water/Fighting type Polar Bear

I think a polar bear would be better as ice/fighting or the more generic water/ice.

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

The Nidoran's say "Hi".

Anyone ever thought the "ears" of the "rabbit" are maybe wings?

Um.. I don't thinkthe Nidorans are rabbits...

And they're kind small to be wings aren't they (Though I suppose that didn't stop Dragonite...)

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

I kinda doubt those spindly things are wings, but with pokemon, who knows? I certainly think that's an interesting viewpoint.

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

The grass one would start out as Legeon (leaf pigeon) then evolve into Vinavian (vine avian) and finally Graptor (grass raptor).

The fire one would start as Flamelet (flame piglet) then evolve into Lavine (lava swine) and finally Combustoar (combustion boar).

The water one would start off as Aquaset (aqua marmoset) then evolve into Hdrenza (hydro cimpenza*) and finally Torilla (torrent gorilla).

That's what I predict.

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

Nidoran's are rabbit based Pokemon.

They're just rather monster-like and poison based.

They are small wings but maybe it evolves into a majestic beast.

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

I find it interesting how most of the fanart is at least somewhat the same. I mean, most of them depict the left one as some sort of leaf lizard type Pokemon, while the others are pretty much either a rabbit, pig, otter, or some sort of bear.

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

I have a feeling that, should the left one be the Grass Starter, and should the Grass Starter be a flightless bird, it's final evolution will be a bird/dinasour hybrid or at least a bird/reptile hybrid. If you look at it's tail from this perspective, it's not very birdlike which could hint at a reptilian evolution.
