Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

True. However Im leaning on more of the idea of having more of a personal struggle in the games. In Black Version, everyone in town are more strict and to themselves..a bit cold, if you will, where on the other side, (White Version) the ppl in town are welcoming and carefree.

Both Versions would represent two extreme ways of living. And in then end, no one is better than the other. Everyone is equal, because its a balance, a Yin and a Yang. However, the message could be that its best to not be so extreme in just ONE aspect of things. To be OPEN.

Just the way SILVER's (no offense dude) way is to only have STRONG Pokemon, and disgusted with anything "WEAK". In the end, EVERYONE has a weakness as well as a strength. Kinda spiritual, but its TRUE! lol.

I do Believe i stop treating my Pokemon like shit when Ursaring was Aware of the trap. XDD but good Example.

Maybe you should be writing the game. You really do have some inspiring insight.

Ahh, yes. What would you think of a starter to be part DARK Type? I would personally think it be totally not expected, yet so awesome.

They need more DARK Pokemon anyway.

Look, I explained myself thoroughly, and if you still want to perceive what I said in a negative standpoint, then I suggest you not post anything because all you're doing is instigating. I have not judged you or anybody here, so you have no right to do it to me. Peace, Flannery's Man.

Blehhhh. You're right. I should just shut up and speculate on the starters, eh? My apologies. I'll shake hands and end this.

I so effin' agree, yes! I'm more keen on the idea of a Dark-type Gym Leader as well.

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

It's not like there's a feud about it. But, whether you admit it or not, I know what you intended in the first post. Yeah, you twisted your explanation into a nice little storyline. But the ellipsis leading to 'definitely' and a 'hehe' pretty much sets it off.

I don't really care one way or the other. But it's not hard to tell the difference in what you meant and how you explained it. And your getting all upset about it in this last post lets me see it as well.

I am not judging you in any way. I just sort of expected a 'Yeah, took it too far' response after the first post. But now it's your cute little storyline. Kind of annoying.

You know the real way to show you don't care? Stop bringing it up.

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

Do you think that any of these starters will be able to breed with any of the previous ones?

Im not upset. But I do not tolerate those who make false accusations towards ppl...especially when you say you "dont care", it doesnt make sense to state anything about it.

Also, by stating that you "know what I really meant", IS a judgement, because of your accusation.

You ARE taking it too far. So stop with your accusations. You're just making an ass of yourself over something you mistook as racial. Its over with. So get over it dude. Peace.

Hope I'm not too late into the game! The starters haven't leak yet so here's my interpretation.

I imagine it to be a *drum roll* reptile. I hope this guy turns out to be a grass type for real. I want the grass type to be bi-pedal like the Treeko line.

Didnt see this post. I apologize too for the bad impression.

Nah. You shouldn't have to, considering I brought it all about. =/ Thanks though. ^__^

Now... To stay on topic: What are your predictions of the starter silhouettes? Or, rather, what would you like them to be?

Damn, I gotta pay more attention! I double-posted here twice! sheesh.

Im leaning on the idea that the one on the left is the Grass Type. Ive seen some of the fake sprite designs on here, but Im afraid they took em down. Crap. Some were quite cool.

I normally start with Water types, but after looking at the silhouettes, I think Grass might be for me this time.

Of course, cant decide til they're fully revealed. But yeah. What about you?

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

Since other (non-Pokémon) things from Corocoro have been leaked but no starters, can we assume that they were not, in fact, in the issue?

Re: Gen V Starter Discussion

I'm not going to bother reading through 130 pages worth of posts to see if someone already said this, but it would be nifty if the final stages of the starters had the subtypes of Dark, Psychic, and Fighting. Each subtype has an advantage over the other, so they could be given to the starters that are already at a type disadvantage.
Example: Fire/Psychic, Water/Dark, Grass/Fighting. Fire beats Grass, but the Fighting subtype beats Fire's Psychic subtype.
You get the point.

Will it happen? No, if anything we will get yet another Fire/Fighting mix. =P
