The Cinema Scares line, launching September 6th, is inspired by vintage horror movies and reimagines Pokémon as the classic monsters on the posters. T-shirts, sweatshirts, and pins feature Ghost-types and other spooky favorites like Lycanroc and Muk with text of a characteristic move.
The second apparel line launching this month, Marvelous Misfits, which The Pokémon Center describes as “moody” and “pop-punk”, will be available on September 14th. This collection will include punk and Halloween inspired flannels, jackets, and sweaters. The usual mascots Pikachu, Gengar, and Snorlax appear as Marvelous Misfits, but one design also includes some overlooked favorites like Litwick and Duskull.
