Niantic releases schedule of additional Pokémon GO content and events coming in December

Niantic has released some additional details on upcoming events and activities in Pokémon GO for this month, including an infographic posted to their social media accounts. Several of the items included in this infographic were previously announced together with the update on the new Mythical Wishes season earlier this week.

Featured Pokémon, Encounters and Raids
Pokémon Spotlight Hours
A different Pokémon and special bonus will be featured every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm local time:

• December 6: Wooper ⁂ | 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon
• December 13: Spheal ⁂ | 2× XP for catching Pokémon
• December 20: Bergmite ⁂ | 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
• December 27: Cubchoo ⁂ | 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon

Research Breakthrough encounters
After completing seven days of Field Research tasks, Trainers will be able to encounter one of the following Pokémon:

• Galarian Mr. Mime ⁂ (Shiny debut)
• Delibird ⁂
• Bagon ⁂
• Deino ⁂
• Furfrou ⁂
• Goomy

Raid rotations all start and end at 10:00am local time on the dates listed unless otherwise noted.

Featured Raid Pokémon
The following Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids:

• December 1st-8th: Virizion ⁂
• December 8th-15th: Terrakion ⁂
• December 15th-23rd: Cobalion ⁂
• December 23th-31st: Kyurem ⁂

Raid Hours
The following Pokémon will be featured in a Raid Hour event on every Wednesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm local time:
