Welcome to Night Blood Academy, a boarding school founded by monsters for monsters. In today's society, everything is dominated by humans. So for the sake of survival, we blend in with humans to avoid a catastrophic conflict. Here, Monsters are taught how to control their powers, and maintain a human form. Along with being able to defend themselves incase of emergency, and proper behaviors in the human world. We only ask that you follow are 3 main rules.

1. During Classes, we ask that you keep in your human form unless told other wise.

2. We reframe from bullying others, and we have a zero bullying tolerance policy. Any harassment will be punished severely.

3. Night Blood Academy is meant to be a secret from humans, so any humans found on the academy grounds, will be disposed of immediately.

This RP is basically a revival of the original Night Blood Academy which is based off of the manga, Rosario + Vampire. You'll play a monster at Night Blood Academy, learning to blend into human society, along with dealing with high school drama which ranges from teenage angst all the way to evil plots and mysteries that cloud the campus. For the record, anything and everything that happened in the former Night Blood Academy is void, and this is a fresh slate. You can reuse a character if you participated in the last one, or create someone new if your returning or playing this for the first time. Species: Vampire

Appearance: Alice stands at 5,4 and weighs 101 lbs. Alice has an hour glass figure, and is perfectly proportioned. She has pale alabaster skin that burns fairly easily, and long flowing blonde waist length hair that she lets hang freely In her human form, Alice has bright green eyes that sparkle like emeralds, and her teeth are like that of any other human. In her Vampire form though, her emerald green eyes turn blood red, and two fangs appear where her canine teeth are. Alice typically wears cute dresses or skirts that never reach higher then her mid thigh.

History: Alice was born to the noble Tepes Family, a family of Vampires. She is the only child, and is the so inheritor of the Tepes Fortune and to become to become head of the family when her parents can no longer fulfill that duty. Alice however, was never extremely interested in Vampire things, and was absolutely fascinated by humans. Alice has never actually had friends, and its because of this lack of social interaction, she can be a little naive. She's very glad to be going to Night Blood Academy, so she can meet people her own age.

Powers: When in her Vampire Form, Alice gains access to powerful regenerative abilities that would heal wounds that would otherwise be fatal to humans. The she can heal more serious wounds by drinking blood from someone else. Alice is also granted with fairly decent agility that makes her faster and more acrobatic then an olympic athlete, but her strength is by far her most powerful trait, being able to shatter boulders into pebbles with a mere punch. Being a Vampire, she inject her own blood into others with her fangs to transform others into Vampires (Only works on humans.) However, Alice is very vulnerable to oak wood like most Vampires. Oak wood steaks actually restrict a Vampire's ability to heal their wounds, and cuts their strength in half. Vampires also have sensitive skin, which burns easily in the sun

Abilities: Alice is decent student, usually getting B's and A's in school. Alice is also a very talented artist, being fairly competent with a pencil and paper. Alice also claims to be a decent cook, but her cooking actually knocks people out with food poisoning in mere seconds.

Appearance: Drew stands at 5,10 and weighs 140 lbs. Drew is fairly slim, some consider him to point of being scrawny. He has pale white skin, and bright blue eyes coupled by his long messy black hair that makes it hard to see his bright blue eyes. He typically wears loose fitting clothing, mostly meant for comfort over style, usually wearing a tee shirt with a pair of jeans and running shoes.

History: Drew is your average student who mostly get's B's and C's in all of his classes. To most he seems completely ordinary, which he is. Thinking that Night Blood Academy was just an ordinary boarding school. Thinking that going to private school would look good on College Applications, he enrolled, completely unaware that he was enrolling into a school full of monsters. Drew is the only child in his family, which is also quite average, not being rich or poor, and having a decent childhood. He's simply your average guy.

Powers: Drew is an ordinary human, with no latent powers.

Abilitiesrew likes to read and write, being an amateur novelist, but he's never actually finished a story.

Name: Lydia Thorpe
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Species: Unnamed, but draconic in origin.

Human Appearance: Lydia is about 6’3” tall and fair-skinned. She’s lean, but her build isn’t particularly athletic. Her shoulder-length hair is light auburn, while her eyes are a dark blue. She wears rather expensive, “fancy”-looking clothing, though isn’t too selective about what gender said clothing is meant for.

“True” Appearance: Her natural form is about 12 feet tall, though has quite a bit of a slouch. Her neck is a good deal longer, and has tripled—those other two necks have heads as well. Her arms are proportionally much longer, and end in wicked talons. She has a long tail that splits in five halfway down, and it, as well as her forearms and somewhat-avian legs, are covered in navy-blue scales. Her hair remains, though is a little bit feathery and tinted cyan. Her eyes are almost feline in appearance, golden and slit, and her ears have practically vanished. Speaking of slits, she has positively Piscean, but mostly nonfunctional, gills on her necks. Her side-heads lack noses, but their mouths are filled with sharp fangs. She has a massive pair of chiropteran (bat) wings. Her breasts are a couple proportional cups larger.

History: Lydia was orphaned at age three. She was taken in by a wealthy, human couple at age five. Even after discovering her true nature, they loved and treated her as their very own. One night, under a velvet moon, their house burned down, leaving her homeless and alone. Convinced that it was her fault, and that she would be the death of any human she ever got close to, she enrolled at Night Blood Academy.

Powers: Lydia can breathe fire through either her mouths or gills. Of course, she has a natural resistance to heat. Her claws are tipped with disorienting venom in addition to being razor-sharp. She can fly, thanks to her 40-foot wingspan, and is strong enough to lift a car.

Abilities: Lydia has a naturally good singing voice, and is proficient at acting.

Name: Lördag 'Nils' Nilsson

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Species: Werewolf

Appearance: In wolf-form, Nils has a glossy, full coat of fur of that shade of black that's actually just really, really, really dark blue, and fiery-golden eyes. In this form, he typically still walks on two legs, but cannot stand up straight, instead walking hunched over. When he rests or has need to move quickly, he will do so on all-fours.

As a human, he retains his eye-colour and fur, in the form of his hair, which is just longer than shoulder-length. Typically, while in human form, he wears simple, dark-coloured clothing, but prefers to forego footwear if he can get away with it. His skin-tone is a typical Scandinavian not-quite-pale, with an extra layer of mild tan on top of it.

Though he has never measured his own height, he stands at just over 5'5 as a human, and as a wolf, on two legs and hunched over, the top of his head reaches his human form's shoulder-height; on all-fours, he reaches his human form's waist-height, or thereabouts.

History: Nils was born in the town of Jokkmokk, in the Sami region of Sweden, though his family moved to Ystad, in the far south of the country, when he was two years old. He grew up in the Skåne county, never living in the same house for more than a few years, each time because he or his father had come too close to being outed as a 'monster'.

As he grew through his teen years, he grew closer to his father, who was also a werewolf, while he gradually grew apart from his mother, a normal human who doesn't know that her husband and son are 'monsters'.

At age 16, Nils decided to leave Sweden, with more than a decade's education under his belt, to gain more worldly experience, fuelled by his discovery of this academy, where, he hopes, he'll fit in like never before.

Powers: Unlike typical werewolves, Nils' transformations do not rely on the position of the moon. Instead, he can transform on a whim, though he has yet to fully master switching forms, instead transforming while under the influence of particularly strong emotions. While in wolf-form, he's stronger, more agile and has keener senses, but, in exchange, is relatively more animal-like, and is therefore less civilised, though he is not completely 'wild'.

Abilities: Even in human-form, Nils possesses decent gymnastic capabilities, though he prefers to consider himself more academic than athletic. As a student, he's of above-average intelligence, but nothing to look twice at. Because of his heritage and education, he is bilingual, speaking Swedish natively, and English as a fluent second language (though, in some situations, he might drop the occasional Swedish word into an otherwise-English sentence).

Species: Harpy

Appearance: True Form: In her true form Mw has mid back length wavy lavender hair and lavender bird eyes. Her skin is a light blue in color while her arms are wings of lavender feathers, her finger nails are black talons and her hands are at the end of her wings on the upper part. Her upper legs and waist are covered in lavender feathers while her knees down are red bird legs. Her ears are pointed and she stands at the total height of 5'9''. Breasts are apparent in this form as well.

Human Form: In this form she retains her hair length and color, as well as eye color. Other than that she shrinks down two inches and looks like an average human girl with light skin.

History: Mw was born in a flock of harpies that lived in mountains with no humans and that were traditional in the sense that men were still treated as slaves or in the case of the flock, the male harpies were slaves. Her father had pretended to love her mother to become free from the slavery life and run away thus leaving Mw's mother Lena pregnant with the unborn harpy. At seven years old due to her mother having never agreed with the traditional harpy lifestyle of males being used for whatever the females desired, Lena took her daughter and her brother Tanaka and the three ran away to human society. There for the next years they lived as humans in their human forms though had to move around constantly due to Mw not being able to fully control her powers. At fifteen the family discovered Night Blood academy and decided it best for Mw to attend there in an attempt to control her powers.

Powers: Due to having avian DNA Mw has powers like that of birds. She can lift three times her own weight, see 4 times as far as humans, and hear the heart beat of a mouse from 25 meters and last of all she can of course fly.

Abilities: Mw is an amazing artist being able to draw someone on paper as though it was a photograph. She also is intelligent always getting good grades.

Species: Half-Demon


Appearance: He's 5'5' tall with an average body. His skin is light. He has shaggy dark brown hair with choppy bangs that cover up to his eyebrows. He has heterochromia, his right eye is blue while his left eye is green. His face looks younger than he is.He likes to wear t-shirts, button shirts and long sleeved shirts with jeans or cargo pants. He prefers to wear running shoes and sneakers.


In his demon form, he grows to 5'7' with a slightly toned body. His skin color turns into a dark shade of gray and the skin past his elbows and knees turn scaly. He grows claws on his hand and feet. The white of his eyes turns black while both iris turn turquoise. He also has big black bat wing on his back.

History: Travis was born from a human mother and a demon father.Despite their heritage, they all just want to live a normal lives. He even went to a normal human school until one day. He was walking home from school with a friend
until suddenly they got surrounded by three muggers. His friends tried to fight, but one of them ended up stabbing him in his stomach. Seeing his friend fall to the floor in pain made Travis feel a variety of emotions: anxiety, fear and anger. This variety of strong caused him to transform into his demon form for the first time. He then blindy used his powers to torture his assailants for a while out in the open with no human nearby. He was found by his dad thanks to his wild demonic energy, and was knocked out to stop his rage.

He eventually woke up in his bed. He was told by his father that he has managed to erase the memories of the thugs, who were in jail now, and his friends, who was in the hospital recovering. His dad told him that it would be dangerous for him to go back to school considering what happened, he didn't want his son to potentionally transform somewhere less favorable. He quickly came up with a solution, to help him control his powers, he would be sending him to an academy called Night Blood. Travis was very upset that he was being sent away but understood that it was for his own good.


Powers:
He is able to control darkness and use it in various ways. He can attack with it, travel inside it and create illusions. He has super strengh. He can fly with his wings but is inexperienced. He's an empath which means he can feel the emotion of others and possibly be influenced by it if it's strong enough. He can sense demonic energy. He is weak to holy objects. Thanks to the wild demonic energy in his form, he becomes a whole new person. His demon self is aggressive, vicious, sadistic and wild.

Appearance: Lyssa is a 5'6' girl with a light skin. She has dyed blond hair, her true hair color is brown. She usually has it tied up. She has a long bang from the side fringe of the right side of her face, it almost covers the left side of her face. She has brown eyes. She has a curvy body and a *ahem* ample breast.

She usually wears blouses or sleeveless shirts with jeans or skirts.


History: Lyssa has lived in a small town all her life. She grew bored of living there because it was very uneventful, even when she tried to do something exciting most of the time. She desperatly wanted something fun to happen. One day while lying on her room while listening to music, her parents came in with news. They asked her if she wanted to go to a boarding school to expand her horizons. Seeing an opportunity to do something different, she accepted. It turns out they already had a school in mind and it was called Night Blood. She thought the name was weird, but she liked it.



Abilities: She's a pretty good gymnast, and she can speak spanish.

Name: Brutus Bull
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Species: Minotaur

Appearance (Human Form): Brutus usually dresses in red and black, except for his faded or dark blue jeans. He has a silver nose ring that stays with him from human to monster forms. He has small, grey eyes and a few scars here and there from picking fights with bullies when he went to human schools. He also wears a pair of silver wristbands, one on each wrist. His hair is a long-ish black and his eyebrows are quite thick. His skin is a bit pale, but he has quite the build for someone his age. He's definitely more muscle than agile.

Appearance (Monster Form): As a Minotaur, his fur is much more dominant, as a mane grows out from his head, which forms into the head of a humanistic bull. His eyebrows are much thicker, and he grows a thick tail. The horns protruding forward are grey in color, and his fur is as black as his human form. The nose ring is much larger, and his skin coloring is a deep red. His eyes remain the same shape and color, though still visible through all the fur. His human feet retreat into themselves to make black hooves and legs similar to a bull. His muscles are much more prominent, as they reach their apex at the age Brutus is.

History: Brutus was born as the second Minotaur known to any shred of mankind. His father, Viluncis, had been exiled deep into the forests of Europe long ago when he was found out as a monster. He hadn't grown to hate humans, but rather pity the life of his fellow monsters, and so had cast himself into isolation in mountain ranges. One day, he ran into a group of thieves who had kidnapped a woman by the name of Clarice. He changed into his bestial form and decimated the thieves' hideout and saved Clarice from who knows what. The two had found a love unknown to them, as Clarice would only chase after Viluncis to thank him, while he couldn't avoid her for long. As Viluncis and Clarice lived together, they had Brutus in the few years they were together.

Brutus wasn't normally able to go in and out of his monstrous form, like his father. Instead, he was put into human schooling, both of them hoping that Brutus could live happily along the humans. They were far from being right. After Brutus had confronted a gang of bullies, he had nearly lost all control and pounded each and every one of them, nearly transforming. He was taken out of human schools, not only because of putting those kids in the hospital, but also for his safety. Brutus usually protected the weaker from the more malicious, but that incident was too much for Brutus to take. So, when his parents had heard of Night Blood Academy, they immediately enrolled Brutus.

Powers: Along with Brutus' ability to transform into a Minotaur, he has amazing strength. Though, this is not without drawback. His transformation takes a while, and his movement isn't very fast. Nevertheless, his punches could shatter bones, his stomps could cause earthquakes, and even his tail could snap a telephone pole.

Abilities: Although he does not like to admit it, he does have a good, deep voice for singing. He likes to sing in the shower.

(Well, here we go again)

Name: James Maxwell
Gender: Male as a Human..when he transforms though...
Age: 16
Species: Human/Kitsune

Appearance: In his human form, James stands about 5 foot 11 inches in height, has fair
skin and brown eyes with short pitch black hair. He weighs in the range of 160-180 pounds
though it's confirmed that's more due to bulkiness and big muscle than actual fat. Typically
wears a darker array of clothing, such as a grey top, black sweatpants, socks and dark
brown laced shoes with a black and silver hoodie.

His monster form...is a bit more complicated. Due to being bonded with a kitsune,a special breed of fox, sometimes called "demon fox" or "spirit", he has the ability to shapeshift into various forms. The transformation can be subtle, such as eyes turning red, nails turning into claws and fox ears on his head while his tails swish behind him. However, some of the most common forms include a average-sized one-tailed fox with black fur and white paws with red eyes, a much taller humanoid female fox about 6 feet tall with black fur, a white torso, white paws with claws, walks on hind legs and has a fox face.

The last form is an actual human girl with black hair that travels down to her rear and ruby eyes with white skin and a beautiful body with generous breasts, dons black attire consisting of thigh-high heeled leather boots, leather pants, a red top with a black vest over it and black fingerless gloves with a longcoat over it, has her tails out and wears a black fox mask that covers her entire face...

And no, you did not read that wrong, his gender does change when he transforms.

History: James was, for all intents and purposes, an ordinary young man living in America, he went
to high school, did his work, got good grades..didn't have much in the terms of friends though. You
see, he is a bit of a troubled figure, without getting too personal, let's just say his childhood was NOT
an ideal one, nor was it very pleasant. It should be noted too the people he lived with..are not his
biological parents, but foster parents who adopted after a falling out with his family. As such, while
he is friendly and trustworthy, he is not too comfy sharing details of his past and can even come off
as a bit quiet and distant at first glance.

Now, you may ask yourself: If he's a normal human than what's all this about being a kitsune?
That..is a very good question. You see, it all started with a family trip to Japan. It seemed like
a normal vacation for him..at least until their trip took them to a forest that was said to have a ghost
haunting an old, abandoned shrine. The group stayed the night but during it, a strange figure was
seen stalking around. James swallowed his fear and went to investigate, discovering who had
been haunting the shrine...a black fox with white paws.

But what was even weirder was the charm he saw placed on her neck by a collar. It seemed to
struggle with the charm and couldn't get it off, on it was the Kanji for "Seal". Feeling sorry for the
fox, James removed the seal, causing the creature to grow to twice its size and gain several more
tails. It was only than he realized what this was: A Kitsune, a creature only existing in fairytales and
legends.

He could only sit and stare as it approached..wondering what it would do..only to be surprised
when it licked his face in thanks. The creature than did something unexpected..it put its paws on
him and entered his body. However, instead of the Kitsune taking over..he didn't feel any different.

So, he went back to sleep, and soon after was heading back to his own country, passing off his
experience as nothing but a bad dream. But a week after returning, things got...weird. It started
with small stuff like his eyes turning red briefly while brushing his teeth in the mirror, or fangs showing
up in his mouth when he ate, or even growling viciously at dogs.

However, perhaps the biggest event was when he was attacked by a group of bullies at
school one day. As usual, teachers did nothing or took no notice, the bullies called him names
and shoved him around, even taking his money and punching him in the gut...but that's when
something in him snapped. His eyes turned red, and he felt power well up inside him, he punched
the guy so hard that he knocked out half his teeth and sent him flying across the school yard.

James lashed out again with a kick against the second bully, hard enough to injure his ribs
and cause him to fall on his side, he grabbed the last bully and started choking him..but than
he came back to his senses and stopped before running away, not realizing just how fast he
was going till he reached home yet he hardly looked tired. Scared out of his mind, he told his
foster parents everything.

Needless to say, the parents of the bullies threw a big fit, especially since the bullies made themselves
out to be the victims..but secruity cameras told a different story. The trio were suspended indefinitely,
but now people avoided James altogether, feeling that he was a loose cannon who could go off at
any time. Things only got weirder when the voice of the kitsune he merged with spoke to him, revealing
its name as Kurai.

To make a long story short, Kurai was known as the Black Kitsune, an outcast from her kind
due to her unusual color scheme, power greater than what her tails should give, and not wanting to commit malevolent deeds on humans. As such, she was bound to the shrine by a seal and could not leave unless a human broke it, but due to the place being abandoned for more than a century, and the rumors, hardly anyone came around. Being freed of her prison though, she decided to perform a full possession on the young man, merging with
him while allowing him to retain his will but now having her powers, and allowing Kurai to experience
life amongst the humans. She than offered to furthur repay him by giving him some pointers on his new powers.

...Although, it seems somebody had different plans, while out prowling the woods in fox form one
night, an old man dressed in sagely robes approached him, insisting he meant no harm, only wanting to help
the boy. He knew of his condition and a place where he would be accepted and could learn to better control
his powers. The old man handed him a letter with instructions before disappearing.

James, Kurai, and his family talked it over, Kurai hesitant as she didn't want to be ordered around or
used like a tool, especially her partner. However, in the end, it was decided this was for the best and
before long, the hybrid was off to Night Blood Academy.


Powers: When in his Kitsune state, James has access to a number of powers. Not the least
of which include vastly enhanced strength, agility, and stamina. Enough to catch up to a moving
vehicle at full throttle, toss a full-grown adult a vast distance or crush large rocks in his hands or challenge other supernatural beings, and shrug off blows that would normally kill the average human, even ones who are decked in armor. His senses are also heightened, meaning he can see in the dark, detect a threat before it even gets close or smell blood from a mile away. He also has a certain degree of regeneration, any attacks fatal enough to injure him will heal if left alone for a small period of time.

As stated before, he has the ability to shapeshift like other Kitsune, but changing forms repeatedly
eats up considerable energy and puts a fair amount of strain on his body, this can leave him exhausted and unfit for battle or interaction. He also has the potential to cast illusions like other Kitsunes but..they aren't very
good, seeing as they can appear see-through, require a great deal of concentration, and is one of the areas of being a Kitsune he needs to work on.

However, perhaps the greatest power is Fox Fire, a powerful flame that Kitsunes are known to create from
their own bodies and serve a variety of purposes. His flame is a blueish color with silver streaks. The
fire can be used as a torch, cover parts of his body to increase damage or protection, be launched in the form of
multiple orbs or a beam for a long range attack, call up a wall of flame, be spewed as a flamethrower from the
mouth, or be used to travel, along with conjure a blade of fox fire..although it should be stated he can't use the travel function for long periods as it pushes his body to the limits of straining. He is currently thinking up other ways to use the Fox Fire. As long as he does not overdo it, he can use the flame's power for an extensive amount of time. The
fox fire is very strong too, able to turn average humans to ash with only a burst and melt rock with stronger bursts.

Abilities: Despite his appearance, James can be surprisingly mobile when he wants to
be, even displaying surprising amounts of strength for his age. He also is an avid reader and
his open-mindedness allows him to use his powers in rather creative ways, he is also a rather
good cook too.
