This is really cool, didn't know there was a Nintendo HK doing events.

Really wish they'd distribute it worldwide. There are plenty of Chinese people, and even non chinese people who celebrate Chinese New Year outside of China :)

They are done online, so anyone can technically get them, they just ask that only people in Hong Kong do.

Wait what? How can anyone technically get them? Aren't distributions like these even online ones usually limited to specific countries?

The codes are usually available through Woobox via Facebook. While codes are normally region-locked, codes for Hong Kong/Taiwan work on Taiwanese and Japanese region games (and PAL region games for some distributions, but not this one).
