SwSh No mythical Pokemon?

Are there really no mythical Pokemon in Gen 8, or have dataminers just been unable to uncover yet-to-come Pokemon due to Switch being harder/impossible to datamine like before?

I believe dataminers have found the Meltan line and Marshadow. We also know Mew will be in the games.

As for new gen 8 mythicals, I haven't heard anything about them so I don't think there are any.

They were scrubbed, but they forgot to change the amount of Pokémon in Galar. This is how we know there are at least two Mythicals in the game that might be DLC.

are Gmax forms also as spaces counted?

No, the species count is 437, so it doesn't include any forms. There are already four event-exclusive Gigantamax forms (Meowth, Snorlax, Melmetal and Toxtricity).

It's extremely likely, but after the whole thing with there being game origin markers for an extra pair of Gen 6 games that went totally unused (or better yet, the other forms of Floette and Magearna), I wouldn't say that anything is concrete, just to be on the safe side.
