Notification that won't leave. D8

For some months now I've had a notification that I have an unread private message. I know that with VMs you can go in and delete any random VM, and that fixes the stuck notfication.

..buuut I don't think I can PM myself. xD;

Any suggestions?

It's not a big issue, just annoying. x_x
