Aya while in the place would get a text from probably the last person she expected.

'Hello Aya this is Ares' mother. I stole your number from his phone. I don't really know anyone else that's young so I was wondering if you were available today or tomorrow to help me with moving some things for a friend. She's elderly so she can't really lift, and Ares is so hard to get into contact with these days. Just let me know.

(OOC: I just wanted to let you guys know that I wrote this at 12 in the morning so it may seem a little...off. When I say off, I mean off off, just like this ooc.)

"Ok..." Robin said in a barely audible voice through her communicator, just able to stifle a huge yawn.

She walked to the library area in a zombie like state and sluggishly attained several "veil" appropriate books before placing them on an empty desk. She then separated them into two piles and sat down at the desk. She grabbed two books, one from each pile, and placed them in a way so that one book was propped up and hiding her head from the front view and the other book was laying flat open on the desk.

After doing so, she sat down and began to read both books. She promptly fell asleep face first on the flat open book.

Aya had moved to find a few articles in the indexing system. Having typed in the keyword 'Sentient', she was greeted with a host of results to look for. In particular, the location of a book about the Sentients. When she turned to walk deeper into the library to find it, her phone got the text.

She was surprised, to say the least, evident by her wide eyes. "Uh..." She replied to the woman.

Ah, today and tomorrow might not be good, ma'm. A bit busy with work, lately...

Then, she read the text again. Ares didn't contact his mother much, if at all, she assumed. Somehow, that made Aya even more angry at him.

"God dammit..." She muttered, putting away her phone to walk deeper into the library.

--

(Small skip.)

The group's efforts yielded some fruit, it seemed. With a lot of compiled references, they were told to meet back at a table to gather their information.

Aya brought back a number of books and notes that she found, sitting down in front of a holographic screen. "Alright," she whispered to herself. "Time to start this..." It had a long time since a brainstorming session was needed for an entire group.

Colt was flipping through books after sitting down and eventually he found a page that froze him to the core. Staring back at him was a picture of his own sword, dripping with blood. The passage that followed didn't help.

"Forged by the famous swordsmaster Muramasa, the blade that eventually became known as Shi no tenshi (Angel of Death) was created after the body of a feudal warlord was thrown into a vat of rare Damascus steel during a civilian uprising. After forging the blade, the sword was cooled by executing each and everyone of the warlord's servants, totaling over 1000 kills. The barbaric cooling of the blade led to rumors of the blade being haunted by the souls of the damned. The blade has passed from hand to hand over the centuries and it is not known who currently has possession of the weapon." Reading this, Colt quickly tossed the book away, chilled to the core by what he had learned.

He did his best to act natural, quickly picking up another book on the Harbingers, but he was still clearly shaken.

Marquess walked up to where Aya was sitting, dropping a stack of books in order to get her attention. Each book notably had paper sticking out from it. "Sometimes the best information is where you don't expect it," he told her, opening up the books to where he had put markers. One book being a diary, which he placed in front of Aya. A child who had managed to survive bearing witness to a harbringer thanks to great hiding skills. He also had found the book that scared Colt, showing Aya the page with the male's sword.

Aya would also receive another text.
'are you sure you can't spare just a few hours? Normally I wouldn't ask but with Ares being so hard to reach lately and I myself not knowing anyone else able to do it, you're the only one I could think of to ask.'

Aya looked down at the diary, before looking back to Marquess. "Thanks," she began reading through the pages. The dates were old - almost four hundred years ago, starting on March 15th.

'15 March, 1743

I bore witness to something no man should ever. Hands... hands that destroyed. My father, he beckoned for us to run - I couldn't. I was frozen with fear, watching as his good friend Tierno stood against this creature.

His visage was gaunt. A mere touch transformed Tierno; a 20-year-old man becoming 90 in an instant. And then, he bellowed, and soon even that tapered out into silence. His body fell into ash and bone.'

The book Colt threw away was picked up delicately by a slender hand. The woman who did it was completely hooded, only the bottom portion of her face visible. "Ancient Japanese Curses," she read the title of the book, which was translated in both English and Kanji. She was dressed in all white, and the designs on her robe were much more ornate than the rest of the inhabitants.

Behind her, Milan and Kara bowed. "Ma'm, welcome back to the stronghold," she smiled back at the two, nodding, before turning her attention back to Colt.

"Does this book interest you?" She asked.

"It did." Colt answered, not knowing what else to say. "Not anymore." He added as an afterthought.

Adam had been looking at some of the books that the others had gathered before noticing the woman that walked over to them, along witht he way both Kara and Milan acted around her. "So I assume you're the boss around here?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"More or less," she looked to Adam. "And you are all agents of Null," she then found herself looking at Marquess. "Well, most of you."

"Yep we are," Adam nodded his head, crossing his arms. "I don't suppose you can tell me what the Children of Orio are, no one else has."

"Orion," she corrected Adam. "I'm surprised you all came here without understanding who we are."

"We kind of just were dragged," he said before glancing towards Aya. "Without really getting briefed."

"Consider them the worlds largest database. One that is neutral to all," Marquess said. "A large group of scholars, the best scholars."

The woman sent a finger gun gesture at Marquess. "Bingo. Good answer, Marqui," she looked at the group. "I am the Master of Spells, Eileen. Here, my job is to archive all information of what most people call magic and its applications."

Aya looked at her. "So... like Riftwalker abilities?"

The woman nodded. "Yes. And much more than that, actually."

"So you're basically librarians?" Adam inquired, raising an eyebrow.

Metzli kept sifting through the information, a bit frustrated that most all of the other articles had the same or a similar story as the main topic. It was a bit silly, in honesty, that Greek gods would have existed centuries ago. At the bottom of the page, she saw a link that only displayed the following two words;

Physician's Cure.

Furrowing her brow, she clicked on the link and waited for the article to load.

"Scholar's is a better term. Librarians tend not to know most of the information they have at their disposable. Scholars on the other hand study it," Marquess said.

"Marqui's on a roll today," Eileen sent the boy a smile, before looking down at the book. "We're more... archivists. We keep information here, and endeavor to learn everything we can. This entire building is, from tile to tile, about as large a city. All of it is dedicated to the world's knowledge. Thus, we are the world's scholarly epicenter, I would like to say."

"The scholarly epicenter... amazing..." Aya looked around the place, before looking at the books on the table.

"Well," Eileen turned on her heel. "I have some work to attend to. Continue on, newcomers."

"I doubt they have something about the purpose of life but it's still pretty awesome," Adam pointed out for a moment before turning to Eileen, realization crossing his face before he quickly ran over to her. 'Wait, does that mean you have information on that place too?" he asked silently. "The Void."

Eileen stopped when Adam came to her. She was silent for a moment before she spoke. "I do."
