Nicol looked at Robin for a moment before shaking his head. "How about we just split the bill this time, I'd feel bad if you paid it all on your own," he stated while looking down at his menu.

"Anyways, let's just drink man, you can think about your proposal later," Adam suggested witha smirk.
"Weapons can be modified. You aren't the only person here with the power to disrupt technology," Aya said to Jett, giving him a little smile. "You're going to practice your swordplay. You'll get good at it, and you'll be more versatile. Less risk of casualty."
She stood from her standing position. "Now, with that little bit of drudge out of the way, tell me about yourself," she said, handing the male a drink. "It's non-alcoholic. Cause you're still a minor."
Colt chuckled. "Fine, fine I'll think about all that when she gets back." He said before downing what was left of his drink and making himself another. At least the bar was fully stocked.
"Of course. Null is very strict about their rules after all" Jett replied, retrieving his gloves from his pocket before accepting the drink from Aya. After taking a sip, he heard her other request, which admittedly caught him off guard. It had been a while since anyone inquired about him beyond his record as a soldier. Using the drink to justify his pause to think of an answer, he eventually responded.
"Not a whole lot to say. My early life, or at least what I can recall of it, wasn't anything noteworthy. Granted, my memory is less than stellar of that, seeing as I've got no recollection aside from occasional fragments. I joined Null because I want to accomplish something by rite of my own skill. And I was kinda sick of having to hide all of the icy stuff. You wouldn't believe how awkward it is to get a doctor checkup when a good fifth of your body's temperature rests at near lethal levels."
"Just do eni meni mini mo to decide." Robin suggested, shrugging. She looked at the menu again. "You know what? I'll just have the chef's special, whatever that may be." Robin decided.
Sayloren shook her head. "There are a lot of things we need to talk about," she said. "The first thing, though... there's something going on here in the Ether. Something bad," she lifted her hand, twisting it and turning it. "Normally, I'm only confined to your room, but ever since about a week ago, I've been free to travel nearly anywhere on the Earth. Can't be seen, but... I think it has something to do with the 'Solstice'."
Aya chuckled at that. "No kidding. I remember back in the day, I nearly EMP'd the tech in the doctor's office when I got the flu. They had to shut down the hospital wing cause they thought there was a terrorist attack going on," she took a drink of her beer. "How about now? Get any weird looks from your freezey-hands?"
"The... Solstice? I've heard about it, but I.. don't really know what it is." Sky admitted with a slight sigh, before posing a question. "It hasn't affect you in a... negative way, has it?"
Colt raised an eyebrow. He had heard the word 'Solstice', the mention of the event piercing through his obviousness. He froze for a long moment, hoping that neither woman knew the truth about the solstice. Filling up his drink, he hurried to the bedroom that he and Aya were sharing, digging into his luggage to make sure that Patton's pistols were present.
Colt frowned. "I'm just glad you didn't follow me in where when Aya and I were..." He cut himself off, laughing at the thought. "And now I just gave you a terrible, horrible idea that I regret ever giving." Colt held up the two antique revolvers. "I'll explain later, but I needed to make sure that I had packed these. Otherwise I was going to need a warp back to base."
"It is?" Nicol raised an eyebrow. "I had no idea," he laughed as the waitress walked over, allowing him and Robin to order.
After a few minutes their plates were served to them and the two were able to eat peacefully, though Nicol couldn't get his mind off the prospect of ice cream.

"It's okay man, I can catch it on video," Adam shrugged, simply messing with Colt. "Why though?"
Colt frowned. "And now I need to check the entire room for hidden cameras. I did the bedroom at home because of Ares... I didn't think I'd have to do it here." He remarked dryly. "As for the pistols, I'll explain next week." Colt promised.
"Wow, this is amazing." Robin said between mouthfuls. "What do you think, Nicky?" She asked him, noticing his head was in the clouds. "What are you thinking about?" Robin asked him, taking a sip of her vanilla coke.
"Mmm, gelatos..." Robin said dreamily, zoning out for a second. She snapped back reality and took another bite out of her dish. Smirking, she replied. "Well, my good friend - if I didn't like it, I wouldn't have eaten, and still am, three quarters of it." She said, gesturing to her plate. "What about you?" She asked.
Colt sighed. "I know, I know. It's just that living with that damn zombie lurking around has me on edge all the time. I shouldn't have to be worrying about him going crazy and hurting Aya all the time." He stopped, as if to look around. "I've thought more than once about simply eradicating the infection from the house... But then I'd probably end up on the couch."
