Adam didn't reply, simply listening, processing, thinking and trying his best not to laugh when he heard the head scientist's name. "Nice to meet you sir," he said as respectfully as he could while laughing on the inside.

"Do you find something funny, Agent Noir?" The imposing man challenged, narrowing his eyes.

"No, he doesn't," Aya said, looking back at Adam. "Right?"

Adam shrugged before shaking his head. "Not at all sir."

"Good. Now, come along, I suppose. We have a meeting to attend." Splinter turned, making his way further into the lab. As the group walked, he raised his hand to his earpiece and muttered something nearly incomprehensible.

"Do we have any status on Genesis, Wake, or Dawn Azarov?"

An answer came to the male, spoken in Italian. "They're still out of the labs at the moment."

Aya walked behind the man, staring at him from behind. He was strange; something about him just rubbed her the wrong way. She didn't know what about him did it. "So... where will this meeting take place?"

"..That's troubling... I would like a notice whenever they do check back in." Hearing Aya's inquiry, the man turned his head slightly, his darkened silver eye trained on the team's leader.

"Ah, excuse my ignorance, Captain Nascire. We'll be headed to one of the conference rooms, located on the right." With that, he lead the Riftwalkers to the room he had mentioned, holding the door for them. Almost unintentionally, he scrutinized them under his sharp gaze.

Colt nodded as he walked into the conference room. Like Aya, he had a strange feeling about their host and what was going on in the lab. He didn't feel the need to express it vocally however.

When the group had been seated in the conference room, they were greeted by a group of researchers all sitting in various chairs. There were a number of empty ones for the group to sit in.

"Welcome, Null," one of the researchers spoke up.

Aya nodded to him. "Thank you for having us," she said, taking a seat.

--

Wake rubbed his face a bit, yawning as he and his siblings trekked back to the labs. "Why did you rush me out of the house, sis? I was getting some nice sleepies in," He asked Genesis. It was clear that he'd picked up on some American terms during their visit.

Adam and Nicol walked into the room, with Adam letting out a silent whistle before givin the researches an acknowledging nod and sitting down, Nicol following along in turn.

Splinter nodded to the researchers, taking a seat of his own near the front of the room.

Sky said nothing, taking a seat on the opposite side of Aya.

"Yeah isn't it way too early for this," Dawn whined before letting out a yawn as she followed after her siblings, trying her best to scratch her drowsiness aside. "Are we going to go do something? I call dibs on the first kill."

Colt nodded. "So tell me, what are we doing here exactly?" He was curious. "And what's the nature of your experimentation on void beasts?" This concerned him. He knew that messing with such things was highly dangerous.

Robin had been silently following the others, looking quite distracted. Taking a seat nearest to the exit, Robin drummed her fingers on the table in thought, her blue eyes trained on the table. Her appearance was messy, for her standards, with a black hair band securing back her uncombed and messy blond hair, a white v-neck t-shirt, black jeans, tatty trainers, a watch and a buttoned up pea green jacket.

Ever since she had received the last transmission from Raphael, Robin had been worried for him and had been trying to communicate with him none stop and to figure out the fastest way to get back to him. She knew the solstice would affect the emissary and he would know that too, but the question was: What had affected the communication and what had he tried to warn her about? She still hadn't told the others about her relationship with him or the circumstances. Her behaviour wouldn't have gone unnoticed by the others for the past few days, with her staying quiet and staying to stay in her room, this being the first time she had been out since she had hung out with Nicol.

"The nature of our experiments will come later... for now, you'll be giving us your stories," one of the researcher said.

Aya nodded to the male. "Alright then. I'll start."

--

The meeting had gone on for nearly an two hours, with the current information known being divulged by the various members in the group. From the latest rift activities to information on the Harbingers, everything the researchers needed to know was given to them.

It was then that the Null members were allowed to walk around the labs, following the researchers to visit their various stations. They were allowed to either travel in groups or be on their lonesome while surveying the various scientists. Aya had taken to going with a researcher into the weapon's development section.

"Oh wow," she said, eyeing a large anti-tank rifle resting on a pedestal. It seemed still be under development.

The researcher nodded. "That is our newest firearm model. It's an anti-material rifle capable of piercing through armor nearly eight feet thick."

"Eight feet?" Aya blinked. "That's a lot of power."

[OOC: You can make up whatever piece of relating information that your character gave and follow a researcher to whatever type of void-related technology room that you want. Agency is yours, my dears.]

Sky herself had chosen to give information on the Solstice, and once they were allowed to roam, she followed Splinter, whom begun explaining about a small sect of laboratories focused on the Void Beast research. She cocked her head, listening to him ramble on.

Something's off about him.. I can't tell what, but there's definitely something wrong. She thought with a slight frown.

"We have yet to check in with the scientists. They'll likely at least want us to check in with the labs." Genesis explained, leading the way for her younger siblings.

Colt of course hadn't said a word about the combat capabilities of the Harbingers, or the effects of the Solstice or anything that would be helpful to the scientists in putting down any of his siblings (or more importantly himself). He had however gone into detail about what he knew about Cezalle, Ripred and Kane, focusing particularly on Ripred and the abilities of the Riftborne.

After the meeting, Colt had gone with Aya to weapons development. He smiled at the newest addition to their arsenal because of the fact that they thought eight feet was a lot. And then Colt reminded himself that it was for most people who didn't carry around world destroying handcannons.

"Is that the maximum?" Aya asked.

"Oh, of course not. That's just the first setting. It goes measures deeper, actually," he said.

Aya looked back to Colt with a smile. "Hey, that might give your pistols a run for their money."

The scientist scoffed haughtily. "Please. No mere pistols can match the piercing power of our weaponry here."

She raised her eyebrows. "That's a tall statement. Especially towards this guy," she said, pointing to her fiance with her thumb.

Colt just smiled, flipping one of his pistols off of his belt, twirling it around his finger before holstering it again. "It just might. What's the maximum?" He asked curiously.

Robin had been daydreaming for the last 20 minutes of the meeting, so she was surprised when everyone had left to go elsewhere. Getting up, Robin made her way to where emissaries were studied, opting to look up information from the scientists on the solstice and how it effected emissaries and of course, Raphael.
