Colt was thrown back from the beast into the wall, but he didn't let up, continuing to fire at the beast. One nice thing about cursed demonic hellcannons is that they didn't run out of ammo.
Finally, the computer was destroyed. "Fuck yes!" Aya yelled out, jumping back to avoid the resulting explosion. The rift began to dissipate all around the Riftwalkers, the beasts within being trapped. In particular, the monster that Colt was fighting would feel its strength be sapped almost instantly, falling over and leaving it vulnerable. When his bullets hit, the beast's body was exploded at the front, killing it instantly.
Cyara looked up in the air, seeing the rift disappear. "Well, that's a good sign," she said, looking to Genesis. "I was here waiting for that Rift of yours to dissipate. Seems that my daughters and their team have accomplished that goal."
"Bro!" Dawn yelled out, letting out a scream loud enough to blow away Robin's attack and even Nicol's flames before they could injure Wake too much. The act however left her voice hoarse and made her fall on her knees in order to catch her breath, only for the rift to vanish.
"Wow, didn't expect you to fall so easily," Nicol laughed, beginning to walk towards Wake. "Come on! I was just getting fired up!"

Adam stared at Sky with worry, making sure to hold pressure to her wound and try to stop the bleeding as the rift vanish. "All right, looks like we can get out now," he stated before grabbing a hold of Sky. "Aya where are you! Sky was shot by one of those sibling brats!"
"Well, it technically wasn't my Rift. I wasn't the one that created it." Genesis replied, glancing to the ceiling with a bored gaze. "Speaking of that team.. My bullets did a number on the unconscious woman - the blonde haired one, if you would. Never seen her before, but she must've been pretty important to you.." She let out a dry chuckle. "I expect her to live. If not, too bad, so sad.."
Sky winced again, trying to get to her feet with no avail. Gritting her teeth, she sank to her knees and clutched the bullet wound tighter with her free hand.
Colt twirled his pistols in his hands before blowing the non-existent smoke off the barrels. He smiled as he walked away from the beast's corpse in the few moments before they vanished from the rift. "Status report?" He called out on the comm.
Cyara stayed silent for a moment. Then, from the sky, a massive orb of flames dropped down onto Genesis. "Oops, did that hurt? Too bad, so sad," she said. "I've wasted enough time with you. Azarov, make sure that you remember; the Void should not be pursued. What lies beyond it is nothing but suffering."
With that, the woman disappeared from the building.
The incident at Cacciola Labs had been looked into. Null's agents conducted various investigations into the lab's works. While that happened, the group had been sent back home.
Three weeks passed, and things had returned to business as usual. Armed with the information Cacciola's researchers had given them, the database at the VRC HQ was more stocked. The VRC's schedules remained steadfast - training nearly every day, with a few days break. Aside from that, it was rather free.
Now, shopping had to be done. The fridge had been conspicuously emptied. Thus, Aya took it upon herself to go out and shop. Requesting a few help her out, she sat in the Camaro's front seat as they neared the farmer's market. With the windows rolled down, the girl had her arm hanging from the window as they turned the street on the plaza, jamming to the rap song playing on the radio. "Damn man, this is my jam!" She said, dancing in her seat.
Colt chuckled, pointing to the fact that he had plugged his fiancee's iPod into the speakers. "I'm always prepared my dear." He said with a knowing smile.
"Bull, you only downloaded the song after I told you about it," Adam pointed out from the back seat with a snicker as he leaned against his chair and fidgeted with his phone.
Sky, meanwhile, had chosen to go to the shooting range to keep her shooting skills sharp. Armed with several guns, she transformed mid-jump into her phoenix form. Beating her massive wings, she took off towards a more secluded area off in the forest. To anyone nearby, it would look like a jaded green bullet shooting off in the distant sky. As she neared her destination, she touched down in a clearing and shifted back into her human form, starting towards the isolated shooting range, drawing one of her many rifles.
At the farmer's market, there was a young woman sitting on the curb of the sidewalk. She had dark skin, a fit build, and brown, curly hair. She wore a fitted, white crop top, along with a pair of black high waisted slacks. Her hand rose up and down, with a small piece of jagged tin moving along with her.
When the three made it to the marketplace, Aya got out of the Camaro, stretching as she looked around. There would be lots and lots of shopping done, today. She had her card with her, ensuring that they would be getting lots of food.
"Alright guys, this card is loaded, so we'll be buying in bulk," she said, holding up her black card. "Lots of stuff here for us. But, no getting stupid stuff. Got it?"

"Drew Alexandrite," a voice said, talking to the male sitting in the middle of the room. "Ex ally of Null, gone without a trace. Found practicing illegal magic from a known target of Null."
Walking into the room was Rose, who stared at the male she hadn't seen for over a year. "Strange how we seem to keep meeting up like this, no?"
@Naoto;
"Cut the small talk." Drew smirked, slouching in his chair. "Tell me what you guys want, and make it quick. My time is valuable, and i don't want it squandered."
He was hardly recognizable from the day he deserted Null. His olive toned skin was now very pale and chalk toned, his chestnut hair was snow white, and the brown eyes that once shown with hope now were a blood red that seemed to belly a tenacity and danger that was not present before.
"I know if you had no use for me, you would of killed me the moment you found me." He joked darkly.
The Camaro pulled up right next to the young woman. She quietly watched as the group talked to each other, idly playing around with her tin while doing so. However, this didn't end so well, as the tin suddenly scraped up the side of Colt's sweet ride, leaving a huge scratch on the side door.
"Ooh!" she quietly exclaimed, looking at the scratch in shock. She looked up at the owners of the car, and slowly got up.
After paying the fee at the shooting range, Sky put on a pair of earmuffs and safety glasses, setting up an M40 sniper rifle for target practice. She begun firing at the targets, eyes focused upon the firing range. She wouldn't have noticed anyone coming into the firing shelter, nor would she have cared.
