"Didn't know you spoke spanish," Adam commented with a chuckle as he looked into the room. "So what's going on?" he asked with a more serious tone, coming to the conclusion that Metzli was probably taken away.
Colt sighed. "I don't know. And I sure as hell don't want to find out." He said after a moment, smiling at the thought. "I should probably tell her all that at some point... shouldn't I?" He asked, already knowing the answer.
Curt decided to visit Metzli and at least feign sympathy for his co-worker. After having some coffee, he walked towards the hospital.
On his way, he heard a very familiar snarl. He saw the dogs from his very first mission, ganging up against some girls. "Alright, who let you out" he said, not intending the pun, "And who do I have to save this time?"
Marissa looked around taking note of everything. "Come we should head towards that building. Technically you should avoid creepy buildings in strange places, but in this case it might give some clues."
The three females would find themselves periodically flickering in and out of existence. Their minds would feel much less in tune with their surroundings; almost as if they were dreaming. It was obvious that they needed to concentrate to keep themselves from simply transporting back into the world.
--
Ripred looked at Kane. "And therein lies the issue; how could you further these goals."
--
Rose raised an eyebrow. "I think you know the answer to that question, Colt."
Marissa however solidified herself. "Thought so. When you said there was a man there, he was a spirit. We're in the ether. Be careful. We could be attacked by violent spirits here."
Metzli, while maintaining her concentration, approached the building in a run. She felt drawn to the place; perhaps it was just her, with a thirst for knowledge.
Colt sighed. "I do." He said, frowning at the thought of what this conversation would mean. Definitely putting himself out of his comfort zone. But he was no coward, he always did what needed to be done. "I'll talk to her after work..." He trailed off, realizing something. "Speaking of work, where is she? And Adam too?" He asked Rose.
Kane nodded his head slowly, taking in what Ripred had said for a moment. "Well as I have said before, I offer the command of everyone that' at my disposal if we are to do a partnership," he replied slyly, grinning widely at the man. "I'm sure having a lot more people can do wonders in taking down Null, especially considering their interference has only gotten stronger."
"I dunno, I haven't left this office in hours. Too busy with this shipping order that needs to be verified," she looked to her screen. Instantly, she pulled up the position of Adam on her tracker. "Looks like Aya and Adam are heading out of the hospital as we speak. Better catch up."
**
Aya had begun loading up the airship, ready to board. The destination was pretty far away, and Diana was very specific about what they had to do upon reaching it. Aya fastened the buckle on one of her boots before standing to start typing the coordinates into the ship.
Then, she looked back. "Where the hell is Colt?"
--
Ripred contemplated the terms. What he was offering was good, considering the... complications as of recently. "And what are your terms? What do you want from me?" He could tell there was more to this than simply an increase in militant power.

The trek toward the building would be long. Considering the distance that needed to be covered, danger could come from around any corner.
In an almost literal fashion, an extremely quick projectile was lobbed at Metzli's running form, the origin coming from an obscuring grove of trees.
Metzli moved to the side, solidifying her skin to steel as she continued to move towards the building. The projectile had just grazed her shoulder, and her concentration wavered for a split second. She flickered, then became whole again. Concentrating even harder, she raised a chunk of the earth and crouched atop of it. Levitating it, she moved it faster than she could run with her willpower.
"Right, well it was nice seeing you again Rose." Colt said with a smile before darting out of the office. A quick stop to grab his weapons and he hopped on the dropship just as it was about to take off.
Drew found the girl running from the monsters chasing her.
Without even thinking, he tossed several balls of light at the monsters to blind the monsters, then grabbed the girl's wrist and dragged her with him to find a place for her to rest.
Dragging her to an abandoned storehouse, Drew attempted to catch his breath.
"Really!?" Marissa yelled as Metz ran ahead of them. She quickly ran after her, pulling Robin along. They needed to stick together not separate and yet the girl. What a pain.
"No, don't touch me!!" The girl yelled, trying to struggle away from Drew. "Get the fuck away!!" She didn't know who he was, but she was too scared to think about it. Taking out a knife, she tried to swipe it at him. It was a weak swipe; any Riftwalker would get nothing worse than a small nick from it.
The creatures, however, now moved in another direction, looking for Drew and the girl. She was loud, but they were distracted.
--
Aya looked to Colt and Adam. "Alright, time to go..."
The ship lifted off with the three inside, heading toward the first destination. "We're, uh... taking a little stop first. Just for a sec."

What had shot the projectile lobbed another, exploding the earth underneath Metzli. It was a dark creature, surrounded in ethereal flames. It roared, sending another projectile at the girl.
Jasper sat on a stack of beams, feeling anxious as could be. One of the Null members had contacted him and said to meet them there. He was against it, but Marquess wanted to meet the girl because she was the girl that Ares was obsessed with. No don't worry about the fact that it was most likely a trap. However the guy said if anything happened then he would just transport them to a rift, if there was one open. IF THERE WAS ONE OPEN! Yeah because IF was always such a great thing. They were so dead and his poor brother would be all alone.
````````````````
"Metzli!" Marissa shouted, picking up her speed and letting go of Robin. This was going to be a pain.
"It's complicated..." she said. They had, however, reached their destination, it seemed. Lowering the drop ship into the construction site, the hull opened for Jasper and Marquess.
