Sign Ups Odyssey of Hoenn (Pokemon Journey RP)

Hey, guys. Raven here, I thought I would try my hand at a journey roleplay! This is set in Hoenn, as the title suggests, and starts out as your characters receiving their first Pokemon. While it's a pretty loose roleplay, I must first lay down some rules;

- No godmodding, bunnying, tennising, etc.
- Please do not ask for reservations, as Sign-Ups will be open at all times (unless the number of characters becomes unmanageable).
- Please respect the GMs and their wishes, aka me and the co-GM @Ladies and Gentlemen;
- Have fun, please.
- It is not my fault if you develop any sort of problems from this roleplay.

BANNED POKEMON

- Any baby-Pokemon.
- Any event-exclusive Pokemon.
- Any evolved Pokemon (doesn't include Pokemon like Marill, since they had a baby form previously).

Personality: Flynn is a somewhat anti-social teenager, though she talks alot when she's around her friends. She can come off as a bit shy at first, though once her true personality is brought out, she can become the life of the party. Flynn likes being outdoors quite a bit, and is an avid mountain-bike racer. She hates being inside for longer than she has to, even if it's cold outside.
Background: Flynn prefers not to tell, unless she's telling it to someone she truly trusts.

[Detective Calvin]

Name: Calvin O'Brien
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Appearance: Calvin stands at 5'4", and looks somewhat pale and sickly. He has golden brown hair, blue eyes, and wears a steel blue outfit consisting of a waterproof jacket, white t-shirt, pants that match the jacket, and running shoes.
Personality: Calvin is a somewhat quiet individual who will voice his opinion if he feels it is needed. When spoken to, he fires back with the first thing that comes to mind, which is always true. He has many social issues due to his Aspergers, yet doesn't seem to care about socializing, seeing it as an unnecessary convention. If he does decide to talk to someone, he tries very hard to be friends, and is surprisingly polite and pleasant. He is obsessed with Pokémon, however, and is very knowledgeable on the subject, due to having studied for a long time.
Background: Calvin is very tight-lipped about the subject except for when he's with those he likes.

Appearance: Nathan is of pale skin, which rarely seems to tan. He has piercing blue eyes, and a regular haircut that is mostly covered with a beanie. Nathan usually wears a hooded jacket with a bodywarmer, jeans and trainers. He has brown hair and his face is regular looking, with no real abnormalities other than a small mole on his cheek.
Personality: Nathan is a boy of mixed personalities, which all change depending on the situation he is faced with. However, he is usually really friendly towards people he has become accustomed to, and somewhat shy around people he hasn't known for a while. He is not usually known for his brave qualities, but would always attempt to help a friend in need. Even though he is friendly he is also very loud, which never helps him as his loudness always seems to end him up in some sort of trouble.
Background: Nathan arrived in the Hoenn region to meet his grandparents who he was meeting with for a while, as his parents were having difficulties. His grandparents are very relaxed, and so Nathan is somewhat a free man, and thus is looking to begin an adventure with his beloved pokémon Ekans.

Name: Yuko Kaburagi

Appearance: Sakura stads at 5,7 and weighs about 115 lbs. She's slim and slender, with pale white skin and dark brown eyes. She has waist length black hair that is cut into a hime cut, and she typically wears red sweater over a black top with a black skirt that comes to her mid thigh with black panty hose and brown leather loafers. When battling, she usually pulls out a pink hand fan with a red cherry blossom pattern. When it's warm out, she'll tie the sweater around her waist, and during formal events, she wears a dark red kimono with a black sash that has pink cherry blossom patterns on it. Her bag is a small purse which is also black.

Personality: Yuko is very serene, calm, intelligent, and kind. However, despite this demeanor. She is very passionate, and she enjoys battling with a lot. Yuko is very playful, and enjoys acting flirty to sometimes get a rise out of boys for her own amusement. She has a VERY fiery temper, and when she get's mad, she can get very harsh verbally, and she won't hesitate to slap people. While it's not apparent, she LOVES ghost stories, and she's very good at telling them. Yuko also has a habit of taking the well being of others into account before her own, and will sometimes blame herself when she can't help someone even though she's given more of enough of her time and care to someone. In terms of Pokemon, she likes Pokemon that are very strong or that are regal, and when she battles. It's noted that her battle style tends be very elegant, and VERY aggressive.

Background: She's from Eukreteak City in Johto, she was trained to be a kimono girl, which is why she places a lot of emphasis on her elegance when battling. She decided leave for Hoen to try and experience the world, and to further herself as a Pokemon trainer.

[Heroic Sociopath]

Name: Gary Miyamoto
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Gary has no relation to Gary Oak. Unlike many people in the Pokemon world, Gary's hair is natural. It's black, and hangs in a tousled mop stop his head. He has sort of olive colored skin, and he has a very nice smile. He's a bit on the slender side as far as body type, and average height.
Personality: Gary has a very strong sense of honor, and those that lie or cheat are sure to bring his ire. He's otherwise a very gentle, cheerful young man. He's very outgoing, and wants to be a video game developer one day.
Background: Lived in Kanto with his mamamoto and papamoto until he was three. They died in an earthquake, so he was sent to live with his aunt and uncle in Newbark town. They spent all their time playing video games instead of watching him, so he became very independent. He decided fairly early he didn't want to spend all his time cooped up inside playing vidya, so he decided that he'd seek some balance and go on a Pokemon journey before he became a game dev.

Luke is also very laid-back and casual but kind and patient and is not afraid to give his opinion. Luke also seems to be willing to help others, regardless of whether he is asked or not, even if he barely knows them. Despite this,Luke is surprisingly an a athletic boy who is smart and persistent, and has a determined and brave spirit, and is intending to beat the pokemon league and become a successful pokemon trainer.

Personality: Harry is easy going, but likes to have fun every now and again. He is used to battling thanks to virtual battling simulators, hence he is a decent battler, although he does mess up a little. He aims to become a successful pokemon Trainer, without having the worries of being a champion, so he could be a frontier brain. He also likes to try new things. So he wouldnt hesitate at trying to be a coordinator.
