Okay, so we've just implemented our new usergroups, and will be rolling out the Junior Admin and Senior Admin usergroups at the end of the week. A few permissions have changed, so please refer to the list below.
Users which have not registered for a Bulbapedia account cannot do anything but read the wiki.
New users who have registered for an account and confirmed their email can do the following:
*Edit all unprotected pages.
*Merge their account across the triwiki system.
*Create talk pages.
*Upload files on Bulbagarden Archives.
*Upload over files they created on Bulbagarden Archives.
After a certain amount of time has passed, users will be considered "autoconfirmed". This basically places you under better trust to edit well, as you will likely already have made many edits. These users may do the following, in addition to the permissions of newly-registered users:
*Create pages in any namespace whose titles have not been blacklisted or protected from creation.
*Move pages to different titles which have not been blacklisted or protected from movement (please discuss page moves first on the talk page).
*Upload over any file that is not protected on Bulbagarden Archives (the various policies regarding this still apply).
*Mark edits as minor, if they are just a grammar or spelling fix.
*Create and edit their userpage.
*You will also be able to, at this point, request a bot to be run by you be registered. Please contact a member of the Editorial Board to ask for approval.
Users which have been put into abuse will be unable to edit pages in the User: namespace until they are removed from that group. All other permissions remain the same. Don't get put into abuse; don't over-edit your userpage.
Junior Admins and up can see the list of permissions they have gained or lost in the Bulbapedia Admin forum here.
