Yeah, soon as I read Gargantoth and Sabravage (not crazy for that name), thought of this.

Even if these are fake, they look fun and I want more fossils dammit!

The 2DS is an exception, because the only thing you could really argue is that the hingeless design is sturdier. However, it's a special case, as I mentioned previously with the 3D causing eye discomfort and headaches, which is particularly problematic for a handheld console that is popular among young children. Reggie even said that the 2DS was targeted to this large portion of their users. It wasn't about producing something cheaper intentionally for that reason.
"The 2DS is the only exception because my argument doesn’t work with it..."

The option to play it in the preferred way will be always there though. Why is this so hard to understand?

The new Switch will target users who think that the handheld switch is currently too big (it’s around the size of 3DS XL without Joycons iirc. There's currently nothing for people who’re used to the smaller handhelds they could take anywhere.
It would also work for the cheaper market which doesn’t care for the console aspect (they probably wouldn’t want to play games like ARMS, but the option to play would be there in handheld, and if they want to play it so much in console mode they can get a dock.

The Switch design will also be sturdier for children since it wouldn’t have the JoyCon rails.

The handheld focused Switch that can still Switch will also be geared towards a larger market.
It will also help to promote multi-Switch households which Nintendo has already begun to see a need for. They already sell a dockless Switch in Japan. It’s just the next step for that.

If that happened to the 3DS to make a 2DS then why not for Switch?

Yeah it just seems too early to have the full dex leaked to us like that now, especially with the base stats and everything about the Pokemon. It is pretty interesting to note that it does line up nearly exactly with dex rumor with all the pictures. My guess though is that someone just really loved that rumor and took the time to come up with names for all the Pokemon, and make up some stats. But yeah, it just feels too early, and there are some things in it that feel a bit overpowered, or unrealistic. Both Quick Learner and Great Journey seem like pretty overpowered abilities, and while having to have a status to evolve is an interesting new mechanic, I just don't think they would want to put us through that trouble.

Going fake for now on this one, we'll just see if any news does anything to deny or confirm. If this does turn out to be fake, than wow do I want to give a lot of credit to the maker. I can't come up with Pokemon names for the life of me, let alone think of all these things. Props to them for taking the time to think of that.

"Grookey evolution line is based on a specific musical or at least 3 (My Fair Lady, Mezza Pops and [email protected]). Final evolution is grass fairy. It becomes prim and proper lady with its stick becoming a flowery parasol. Is viewed as a bossy busy body/has short temper and is prudish.

Scorbunny's line is based on British sports popularity through the years from soccer to nfl. Scorbunny first gains a grey and cream/beige rugby helmet in it's middle stage. On it's final evolution, it gains shoulder pads and the helmet changes more to an nfl helmet's. I think they tried to make it look like a knight but with sports gear. On the final evolution it gains the steel typing.

(In england, soccer has always been popular but then rugby has become popular in more recent decades but only recently has american football become widely popular with British millennials).

Sobble's final is water poison and seems to be based on an MI5 agent. It shoots out poisonous water from its mouth but through it's hands while they're cupped as if it is using a poison dart. It is depicted as shooting these "darts" from behind cover. The tears underneath sobble become an ingonito mask pattern.

Please take this with a massive grain of salt."

So.... Grookey evolves into Musical and Scorbunny into sports, but Sobble doesn't have the Culture/Entertainment evolution. Yeah, fake.

not sure what to think about this..

View: https://pastebin.com/qhrsJ8Dp

A 51 base speed water starter...definitively what the world needed. Not counting that it basically has Oblivious as ability (with another name) while the other two have new (too overpowered) abilities.

  1. *GREAT JOURNEY- When the Pokémon faints, it revives once with a single hit point.
  2. *QUICK LEARNER - Increases Evasion by one stage when hit by an attack.
  3. *REGAL POISE- Cannot fall under the effects of Taunt, Attract or Confusion.
And if even torterra has 75 base special attack, I don't see how Grookey can end up with only 62, considering that in the first trailer it makes the grass grow back with his stick with some sort of special power. The only starter who has less than 70 in one of the attacks stats is Delphox with 69 in Attack because it has paper arms. Grookey is totally not in the same position right now.

The first reviews of Detective Pikachu are out and they are kinda mixed at best.

Yeah. I think that the abilities that can spontaneously revive and raise evasion on contact to be overpowered. I also agree that having to evolve a Pokemon with a status condition is too much of a hassle. Real full dex leaks usually don't come this early. They usually come closer to the game's release.

Detective Pikachu should actually be called "How to make adorable Pokémon look creepy and unappealing: the movie".
Well, the movie looks really appealing actually. The world reacted positively to all the trailers. We all know it was not meant to be a piece of art for the critics but I still think it will be a fun movie to see just for entertainment.

These abilities confirm fakeness. There is no way GF would let a Poke continually boost its evasion just for being hit by any attack, Regal Poise is just Oblivious+, Great Journey is basically Disguise (it also sounds like something a fan would come up with--which isnt a negative comment, but still).

Yeah, not happening.
Larvant - With Burn Status into Solgenaw: Yeah, Gamefreak is never gonna do the thing that Pokemon need a status ailment to evolve, especially since status ailments are random.
The Pokemon that evolves when level up after Breeding: Yeah not happening as well, since not many kids are into breeding or know how it works.
Also: 192 Pokemon and only three, 3 stage evolultion lines, one of which is the Psuedo (And i haven't counted the starters, since they are always three stage). This for me, looks super unrealistic, especially with that high of total new Pokemon, a total that is also super unrealistic.
Also: I notice that the Wooden Horse from the leak is in this, which for me, with the things i pointed out above, checks this off as fake.

One would think there’s no way GF would let a Pokemon increase its speed every turn for literally existing,..

Not that I think that this thing is real (it isn’t) but Scorbunny’s HA isn’t the most fake thing there.
