I really want to see more Eeveelutions, but I think I'm more excited about getting new fossil mons again. I was trying to research about what fossils are found in England and learned about the Jurassic Coast area, so I think we'll definitely get another pair. I personally would like an Iguanodon or a Scelidosaurus (or some other type of stegosaurus).

What dinosaurs/fossils would everyone like to see?

Types aren't sorted into Special and Physical anymore and Umbreon was originally going to be Poison, so the "eeveelutions are all Special types" is both wrong and clearly a coincidence to begin with.

And eight eeveelutions being more than enough is subjective. =P
Really, not adding more would be a bit of a loss considering that the eeveelution line is such a popular group for merch. The marketing they could do if they ever had one for each type would be grand.
Adding to this, Leafeon was also planned to be in the games since at least Gen II, so that means the of Leafeon concept was already there and didn't have anything to do with Special types. In fact, I guess it had more to do with evolution stones since the three of the Gen II Eeveelutions also evolved with stones (Heart Stone for Espeon, Poison Stone for Umbreon, and Leaf Stone for Leafeon). Glaceon being paired with it in Gen IV is because it is the most logical choice in my opinion for a counterpart. Maybe it could have worked with Poison, but judging by how they wanted them to evolve it makes me doubtful that it was even considered.

Gotta agree with @KiranTheWitch- I'd love to see a plesiosaur that isn't Lapras. Heck, we nearly had one in Gen 2- they could revive and update poor Kurusu. Next to that, I guess mammoths and smilodons would probably be a top one. Maybe a dodo? We're also probably overdue for a velociraptor.

There's also thylacine, but I don't think that's really a "fossil" animal given how recent it went... maybe it's time that we got some other kind of revival system for "extinct" pokemon.

I'd love to see a mosasaurus or some other large aquatic one (even though they technically aren't dinosaurs)

I honestly would like a Stegosaurus because I find them very cute.

Styracosaurus (i know we have something similar but we need more horns :) )
Mosasaurus with bioluminescence on itself or plant life on it
Ankylosaurus I think are great candidates Dino wise.

Kimbetopsalis simmonsae
Sabertooth with a fun design
Pachylemur
Wooly Mammoth that actually looks like a Mammoth would be great for mammal candidates.

I can't think or find any bird like fossil ideas I'd want beyond what we already have, Archeops which is my favorite fossil mon. I guess I wouldn't mind seeing it appear again with a color variation. maybe a cooler pallet. But I love the colors it already has too.

-Kinda too the side- I think it would be kinda cool to have the platypus (still around) described as a living fossil like relicanth. thylacine (not around) could be placed in that area since it was so recent. It could have a sudden reappearance after it was thought to be gone. I'd put the dodo (not around) there as well along with the kiwi bird (still around).

*Completely unrelated but comes up when I think about fossil pokemon, It would be cool to have a water/dark variant of Tyranitar or an semi-aquatic Tyranitar like pokemon with a tad bioluminescence from itself or plant life on it.

A Velociraptor Pokemon would be a great idea to have. We need a Fossil Pokemon who can use claw moves to the fullest extent.
What type would you give it? and what design would you have in mind? (i see some depictions of velociraptors having some feathers and some without any so it's why I ask)
kinda unrelated and much bigger but it reminds of velociraptors, how do you feel about spinosaurus?

Personally, I'd want to see it with a feathered tail and maybe understated feathered arms- because we already have Archen and Grovyle with prominent arm "feathering" so a feathered velociraptor should have small and totally useless feathers on its arms, if any, to set it apart from either of those two.

I'd love to see one with either of these kind of tail shapes, though-

I would give it the big claw on each foot and also give the feathers on the chest and tail. It's attacking behavior would be using the claws on the foot for moves involving using claws like Shadow Claw and Scratch. It would be Dark/Rock-type.

I would love to see them do an actual Plesiosaur. A lot of people on IG have been doing fossil fakemons, and a lot that I've seen are mammoths and sabertooths.

It would be intriguing if there were both two revivable Fossils and one or two Fossil Fragments that would activate a (permanent hopefully?) ancient evolution for an already existing one or two stage Pokemon..!!
