About the conference, I think we could create a thread for it. What do you think?

I also think that's a great sign, and a hint that the games may be pretty story based. I know the games are about the mon's first, but the human characters within also build that world and its lore too. Of course, characters could mean both people and Pokemon.

With a few exceptions, the characters of the last 2 gens felt kinda flat to me, lacking proper depth, proper resolution, or both. So if the director is actually passionate about the experience they are creating, then maybe it'll better reflect in how the characters of Galar are handled. Bc I (and many fans) want to be so immersed in these games that I also dream about its characters.

I mean, I dreamt about GO, and its not a particularly in depth game...

Well, think about it from a creator's standpoint. If they're that immersed in their creations then it might show in the quality of their work.

It's good to keep expectations about S & S realistic of course, but I hope that Gen 8 will be the one to finally exceed expectations.

Actually, I feel it's the opposite. Tecmo-Koei is pretty open to crossovers, so if GF asks, then we can get a Conquest 2.

If Koei is involve, I want more than anything "Pokemon Warrior". And it is actually more likely than Conquest 2. Since the Warrior series is far more popular and has already crossed over with many series already including Zelda and Fire Emblem from Nintendo.

NEW POKEMON SNAP, PLZ K THNX. I NEED ME SOME RELAXING CASUAL POKEMON GAMING. Y'know. That isn't on a phone basically putting walls around me and saying "see all that shiny stuff over there? You're only gonna get it when you GIVE US ALL YOUR MONEY. ISN'T THAT FUN? :D" I want a game that doesn't hold my enjoyment/progression for ransom.

Anywaaaays... June 5th, huh? That's the same day I have to go to an interview thing involving Social Security stuff... so now I'm gonna be both anxious AND excited. Anxited? Exious? ...Who am I kidding I'm just gonna be Anxious. Coming home to hopefully plentiful pokemon news will at least take a bit of the edge off what is undoubtedly going to be an otherwise miserable day.

Though watch them show the same trailer as before but with devs talking over it about things in it. Then new stuff like art of the Player Characters, the first route pokemon, ominous reference to the big plot element, the box legendaries, and possibly the evil team of this generation. Or if they continue with the Sun Moon tease, the 'evil team' red herrings. If we're lucky we'll actually get told about more stuff. But I wouldn't put it past them to still give us just enough to talk about until they drop more stuff at E3.

Ooh boy I am a bucket of pessimistic salt right now.

We already know what Galar looks like for the most part. (the map isn't perfect, there is definitely more than what we see in there) I think you mean the order that things go in, if there is one. There's some indication that at least part of it is open to choice.
