More mystery letters. I can't make sense of them, I almost thought they would when I saw a Game Freak sign.

We definitely seem to have an origin for Grookey.

I think its more likely the soccer/sport stuff is included as side content/optional fun stuff rather than a central aspect to the game story and progression

the website makes it seem like the core theme of Galar is industrialism

Yeah. I don't think that the sports stuff is required for plot progression.

I don't know, in the trailer it looks like Lucario and Tyranitar are having a regular battle in one of those stadiums.

If we were to associate Grookey with Music (Beatles), and Scorbunny with Sport (Futbol), how about Sobble as a Play Performer (Shakespeare)? The way it shows its expressions is quite dramatic!

I think that the stadiums are most likely some of the game's gyms.

If Grookey represents music, then I think Keith Moon would be more fitting than The Beatles.

However, there are less than 8 of the stadiums, so I think that some of the gyms are elsewhere. The tower I think will be an Electric-type gym.

FINALLY SAW THE TRAILER! And read all the posts (so I could get caught up)

Have to say I'm really digging the region. Seeing all 8 gyms and the starters, plus the trainers we'll be playing as. I'm kinda hoping we'll get an Irish or Scottish Professor this time around; as for the starters I can see the following happening

Scorbunny: Fair, Electric, Steel.
Grookey; Fighting, Ground, Rock
Sobble; Ghost, Dragon, Psychic or Poison.

I thought so, too, but the symbols are not consistent with the Game Freak sign, and even if it was somehow switched for that sign, it still wouldn't be internally consistent because you'd be saying A somehow has two different symbols, and G as well.

I've done some research and have come up with what location in the Galar Region is which. Yes some areas are not as accurate as in real life, but hey, that's Pokemon for you.

There's eight. There's one deceptively hidden in the Big-Town area right in the middle.

They look like they're sneaking around. It's possible that the DexNav comes back.
