Official Pokémon Sword and Shield speculation thread (Updated June 5th, 2019)

Based on what I've seen, I really feel like a lot of love has gone into these games and that there is probably so many more great things we have too see ( especially since its only June). Although they deserve a bit of criticism, I can only imagine how the people who worked on the game are feeling about people dropping the entire game/series over an issue that has yet to be truly discussed in full by Gamefreak. I do realize that many fans were hurt by this as well though, and I just want to try to bring our frustrations into perspective that Gamefreak employees probably have equal if not more passion about the games than we do. And to be honest, I do feel that they are reluctant to cut pokemon from the game ( given that they are still updating the pokemon models for switch) and would love to have them all in right at launch. Feel free to disagree with me on this, but I just wanted to bring a bit more empathy and peace into this whole conversion built around frustration and aggression.
i feel alot of love has gone into these games as well, but if gamefreak had more to say or discuss on that topic they should have waited to say something about it or said more at the time because, like we see now, saying only a tid bit just upsets people.

You may not like the idea but it's the principle behind it that matters,
What principle? "I don't like this removal" is only enough to justify complaining about it. Harassing someone over it is violating principles like basic human decency, which is far more important than which Pokemon you want in a game.
and that fans are not happy with the new Dynamax feature. Inflate someone 10x and their stats go up by 50%? Sheesh.
No, this is definitely about the dex restrictions. Dynamax was revealed a while ago.
But, this is what the free market is. Just like government vs. people.
Free market means that people are allowed to choose what they purchase, not that they're allowed to harass people for making changes to a product.

I'm afraid to tell you this, but for most of you peeps, you guys are "actions speak louder than words" rather than "words speak louder than action."

While I myself am a "words speak louder than actions" most of you people are not. Most of you people when you really are angry, your actions speak louder than words.

As for insult vs. assault being legal and illegal, maybe a better analogy for some of you wooden-heads is child porn vs. adult porn, 1 is legal (depending on the situation) and 1 is completely illegal.

(Sorry, late to the "party" and all. The transfer issue is definitely concerning, even though I stopped caring about transferring up mons in Gen VII because I've reached a point where I can't be bothered with all of that anymore [like its really just too much for my OCD brain; I had to quit]) HOWEVER:

I'm still freaking out a little about what they said about dynamaxing "replacing" Megas and Z-moves. I'm really really hoping that that was just a poor choice of words. Megas and Z-moves HAVE to still be in, otherwise my theory/dream is dead and I will be devastated. The Spirit is out of balance again, Cyrus is still evil and this is the Dark Timeline. Probably the one where Ghetsis successfully takes over Unova and N never learns he was being used and manipulated.

Wow, seriously? That's just childish. Masuda surely is not the sole person behind this decision. Do these people think insulting him will bring their favorite mons back?

People simply want a scapegoat, and it’s easy to point fingers at the most vocal member of a company, unfortunately. :/

It was a mistranslation. Z-Moves and megas are in the game.

How old are you? We're wooden-heads (what even is that?) because we thing its childish to be insulting/threatening real life human beings because you cant transfer your favorite magical monster animal to the next game in the magical monster animal series?

And are you seriously comparing two forms of harassment to a normal thing and the DISTRIBUTION AND ABUSE OF MINORS? Because sweet tits on a Milktank son, do you need to learn some things.

Maybe you should try educating yourself a little more on basic concepts and realize that we're talking about the morality of the action, not the legality.

However, since you're so focused on rules, you'll be delighted to know that most websites do have their own rules, and Twitter is no exception! You'll find quite clearly stated in the Twitter Terms of Service that harassing other users is not allowed.
Using aggressive insults with the purpose of harassing or intimidating others

We take action against excessively aggressive insults that target an individual, including content that contains slurs or similar language. Please also note that while some individuals may find certain terms to be offensive, we will not action against every instance where insulting terms are used.

Encouraging or calling for others to harass an individual or group of people

We prohibit behavior that encourages others to harass or target specific individuals or groups with abusive behavior. This includes, but is not limited to; calls to target people with abuse or harassment online and behavior that urges offline action such as physical harassment.

So, yes, they're still breaking the rules on Twitter, too! Not a leg to stand on here!
