I really hope the Kingdom: Red/Green leak is false. I will throw up if i get kanto shoved into my face again

I know right? Kanto already had 2 generations worth of attention recently plus 4 generations more before Gen 5. That already makes it a grand total of 6 out of 7 generations in which it received the attention, I'd rather this doesn't become 7 out of 8 and instead just becomes 6 out of 8.

Why is it that when every pre-new gen season has a Kanto rumor, everyone automatically latches on to it and freaks out over the very, VERY small possibility of it being true...and starts hating on Kanto?

Sure, Kanto is over done by this point. But I honestly thought all the "We're going back to Kanto for the first games of a generation!" Was the region equivilant of the dolphin pokemon rumors that pop up every 3 years like clockwork.

Not ruling out a remake some year. I mean if they make a Let's Go II: Johto, they're going to have to put Kanto in it. But every single time Kanto pops up pre-new generation, its always false.

We got kanto mega starters in xy, kanto reskins in sm (as well as Red and Blue/Green appearing post game), pokemon go launched with kanto only, pokemon quest/builder block game is all kanto pokemon only, pokemon rby games released on 3ds virtual console and were made compatible with bank, pokemon let's go pikachu and eevee...

I dont hate kanto im just tired of it being shoved in my face all the time

EDIT: AND I'm sure I'm missing a ton more too. But to be clear: I dont hate kanto, I actually like kanto. I am just a bit tired of it claiming a bit of the spotlight in every modern pokemom game lately is all
