Definetely feels like an announcement is near,with the Ubisoft guy,Emily and Eurogamer(and the not really credible Aero) all saying/hinting it's soon.There's also a consistent ResetEra mod hinting at a Direct soon(although it could be a mini direct given the context,we don't really know),and another one hinting at Kanto.Also Nintendaan saying it's this year which means it must be revealed soon enough.

So as monday is ending in japan, when did gamefreak/nintendo usually announce a direct on mondays . Can we expect an announcement early tuesday in japanese time or is all hope gone already? Or has it happened before, that gamefreak just dropped the direct on a tuesday?

The last Pokemon Direct was announced on a Monday at 10:00 EDT / 23:00 JST. So we have 35 minutes left to find out.

The first XY Direct was announced on a Monday, as well.

Back in Black 2 and White 2, Pokémon World Tournament had free DLC battles (little gimmick tournaments) so it would be great for them to retake this concept!

Exactly just wait for E3 if anything Pokemon will show up there. I'll still hold that this month might possibly have something but wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't and at a later date.
