Yeah. Plus & Minus is absolutely fake. The leak implies that they will follow up X&Y. However, it was ORAS, not Plus & Minus, that followed XY.

I seriously doubt Game Freak is interested in learning about what fake rumors are going around, let alone making entire games around them.

Sincerely, I think we will get games named Plus/Minus in the future. Not because the leak would be right, but in a "broken clock" way.

But don't expect Plus/Minus to be the absolute next name for Pokemon versions. Game Freak definitely knows a lot more names for Pokemon versions than we do.

I don’t think Plus/Minus was absolutely fake, it seemed more like scrapped concepts which were adopted into Generation 7 with modification, and we might get some modified forms of those concepts later.

But I agree it’s ridiculous to expect a 1:1 Plus/Minus version as described in the leak. I even doubt those will be the version names.

It is planned to be reveal later that for the special one to fulfill their role in society they must be mortally sacrificed to awaken the legendaries.
