It's Pokemon spelled backwards. Do you know where you can find backwards things? Twisted dimensions.

SINNOH CONFIRMED
That's not Pokemon spelled backwards. Pokemon spelled backwards is Nomekop. It's just the two parts of the name switched around. I don't know why they did this.

I didn't know about that. Maybe we should keep an eye on it. Inb4 it doesn't have anything to do with Pokémon and Game Freak is just trolling us.
It even has its own logo. I highly doubt that this is to curb Pokemon knockoffs.

The logo does have Poke Balls so this will have some connection to Pokemon.

My guess is Monpoke is some kind of pokebank succesor that can link with not just 3ds, but switch, and mobile. Taking the name as "monster pocket" so its a "pocket" or app to store monsters.
The trademark says that it covers pretty much anything.

I like you guys' Halloween theme.

I don't think it's just pokebank, but Sebebii says Monpoke' was referring as a line of Fransise brand (include Beards).

Wait, what? Are you sure Serebii didn't write something wrong? I mean, why beards of all things?

EDIT: Guess not. This is getting weirder.

Could just be some posh-themed pokemon merchandise- "mon" does double as a french word. Add in some beards and monocles and I think we're set for a tea party (though that's British, isn't it?)

Spaz Edit: ...JUST REALIZED THAT MON IS ALSO IN MONOCLE

Can we put the pattern thing to rest already? That false argument has been used way too many times. Anyways, wouldn't be surprised if Monpoke is a trademark just for security reasons.
