Apparently someone on 4chan posted this and it’s “Pokemon: Let’s GO Pikachu!” The other according to them is “Pokemon: Let’s GO Eevee!”

Pretty terrible names if true.
Sounds... either fake and based on rumors, or more like a spin-off, not a core series game. It has a Hey You, Pikachu vibe.

If it’s real, maybe they’re hoping to grab the attention from all those pokemon go players.
Pokémon go at it’s peak was 750 million people if they get even 2% that market. It’s 15 million sales

Addition to the people who already buy pokemon games

If they made a Go clone game then the chinese leaker saying "there's no big focus on the plot" makes sense. 11 months for this...

Oh no, I really hope they don't steep close to people who will only get one or two Pokemon games out of the entire series, that's what made 3DS Pokemon games lackluster imo, well that and fanservice.

Pokemon Go doesn't make any sense as a market to target for a home console, though- Go's success came from its convenience, being free to download on a device that users already had. That demographic isn't going to go out and drop $300 on a Switch to play Pokemon. The Go players who are likely to, are already core series players who don't need to be marketed to as Go players.

That’s why I said 2%. It really doesn’t have to be a lot.
