This is the first time since 2012 that they shown nothing videogame related. Apparently, there isn't any spin-off coming that they could've shown here. I'm upset but I understand that showing LGPE news could be controversial.

Oh....Now that you put it that way, it makes much more sense why they didn't reveal any gameplay for Let's GO! at a competitive tournament. Still, why did they show us trading cards then? Isn't that competitive as well?

I guess the problem is that everyone was expecting the new Pokémon to be revealed there, not a pair of cards and the logo of the Detective Pikachu movie. Even I was disappointed at the reveal.

To tell the truth, I prefer to wait a bit than getting Gen VIII immediately. History has shown us that getting the games rushed is a pretty bad idea *points at Sonic 06 and ET*

And also that waiting can give us some kickass games *points to BotW and Last Guardian*

We're most likely getting the LGPE new Pokemon next month judging by merchandise listings. It is also indeed a Mythical and it is considered a Gen VII Pokemon.

It most likely will be, considering its National Dex Number (808).

That's like saying that the USUM-exclusive UBs had to be mythicals. They weren't.

It was described as a Special Pokemon. That term has been reserved for Mewtwo-tier legendaries so far.

Inb4 GF doesn't clarify to which generation it belongs (since that's mostly a fan term), same way they still didn't clarify whether or not Phione is a Mythical.

You mean Gen 7, and PokeShopper reports that it is listed with Sun & Moon merchandise.
