Definitely, definitely feels like it's gotta be something. Probably the shape of the new region, or it might just be one island off the edge of it.

If anything is a hint, this would probably be it.

(It also might not even be the Bahamas, but a region shaped similarly...)

Okay, either GF is trolling us like absolute crazy and wanting us to believe that the calendar has some sort of meaning behind it, and really it's just nothing at all.

Or we looking at something that is hinting at generation 8. That is definitely the same shape as the one in LGPE (the landmass above does look smaller, but I think it might just be the graphics in the image or of the 3DS just not being able to bring it out right.

Part of me really thinks, really hopes that it's pointing towards the next region for the next games. But the other part of me wonders would they use a hint in multiple titles? I'm not sure about previous generations, but as far as I know the hint we had ingame for SM was only in XY (the strange souvenir), and maybe there were other repeated hints for those games, or previous titles, but that is quite interesting that the same calendar shows up twice.

I wonder if anyone ever noticed it and talked about it before. Like before the one was discovered in LGPE.

No one talked about it in Sm / Usum era or even bought it up. I think because people are analysing for hints now, that it was found.

But we know LGPE uses the same assets as USUM, so that alone could mean it means basically nothing.

Although it's been confirmed that the scroll in the fighting Dojo in LGPE, says nothing in Japanese, it's gibberish, its very possible the same is for this map.

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but don't you think that putting the entire new region in past games is more like a huge spoiler than a small hint? Why would they do that?
I mean the biggest hint I could think of is showing Alola Exeggutor in Oras but it was a hint that cannot be understood until the reveal of Alola forms. This time they basically put an unknown region on a calendar, something everybody would speculate on. This is why I don't believe this calendar thing.
We never understand hints, this is why we should not believe the ones we think we've understood XD

I'll spare the readers here the many thoughts I have about the Gen 8 region being based on the UK, and throw out one idea that I'm hoping ends up being in these games, regardless of the region:

A Fairy-type Elite Four Member!

I feel like the type itself would be very well-suited to an Elite Four battle, and I was pretty surprised that Mina didn't make it into the Alola Elite Four. And if the rumors about a UK-based Gen 8 end up being true, then I REALLY hope that the Fairy-type Elite Four ends up being male and named Oberon.

Sounds good. But honestly, I want the elite four of gen 8 to use types that still have yet to be used in the Pokémon league. I’ve always wanted to see what a Normal type elite four member could look like.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Before I start writing my thoughts, I would like to stress socially and politely that I do NOT wish for vulgar and impolite criticism. You are free to discus and criticise it by all means, but please do remember to respect others with info that they want to share in this forum. I do not wish for any more bullying and slamming downs, this is only a free personal opinion that has nothing to do with leaks nor rumor shown on 4chan or any other sites. NO Crown and Sceptre, NO King and Queen, NO leaks concerning the region being in the UK or Spain. I'm only discussing from what I've found for myself according to Junichi Masuda's Tweets on Twitter and The Pokemon Company. Thank you.

Now, this is what Junichi Masuda hinted thus far, if we are going to believe that these tweets are connected to Gen 8, just as the past tweets correlated to Sun and Moon and LGPE.

We have him mentioning Wind and Cold for the region's temperature.
There is also a Renewal theme relating to it.
He rode on a bus and was seated on the top left seat, stating that it's like he's a driver.
He also in the latest tweet stated... Was the lyrics of the London bashi like this one? What? (Lol)... Bashi in Japanese can mean two things, Chopsticks or Bridge. Although it also means Bus in Chinese.

There is also the official Pokemon Kids TV that was released on Youtube yesterday where it has a wallpaper, and is shown before and after each video, showing old victorian houses along with other buildings, cars, a jet plane, trees and even a red London Bus. There are also two British songs of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and London Bridge is Falling Down.

So, if we accept the Bashi part being Bridge, we have in the lyrics Wood and Clay, Bricks and Mortar, Iron and Steel and Silver and Gold. This does show a renewal theme within the lyrics and the items used when constructing the bridge. Also to note, Junichi Masuda tweeted of boarding a red Double Decker Bus in London back in 2016.

It might not mean anything, it might not have anything to do with the UK being a Region. This is just all we got thus far.

Now, I really want you all to be more open on this, and less grudgingly over something that you might think is tiresome, when it could still be a possibility. So Please, don't gun down the messenger boy that is just sharing you this, but instead take your anger on these fakers that are just crying wolf to gain attention on themselves, and distracting us from the possible real wolf that could as well be making an appearance very soon. Thank you.

I know you told me not to bring up the whole UK topic again, especially after the amount of arguing and false leaks that have came up last month. I'm just writing this based on a main source, i.e. Junichi Masuda's Twitter page and the recently made Pokemon Kids TV channel on Youtube. When I said Double Decker Bus, I meant the one seen in the wallpaper, intro and ending of each video on the Pokemon Kids TV site. The 2016 tweet was just a Side Note, not correlating to what I was trying to discuss, and yet people would dive into things off topic to what some are trying to show. The reason of why I'm still writing the UK being possible of becoming the next region is because it's still up there with all the findings we've recently found. Also I have the similar gut feeling as when the Gen 7 Starter's Final Evolution Confidential Sheets were leaked online and suspected them to be real. It only became so when Mallow was revealed.

Typing on these forums can lead to misunderstandings and arguing, and we do not wish to have that again.

Thank you.

I think Normal would be cool for a Champion.

In a world full of prodigies making it to top, an 'ordinary' trainer who just worked his butt off to become the strongest trainer in the region would be a cool sight.

Snorlax; Miltank; Blissey; Slaking; Bewear; Mega Kangashkan. A simple Champion's team.

And really mainstream.

I'd rather not have a Normal Champion to have all the obvious, strongest and most popular Normal-types in use.

Especially when his lore is that he went from absolute bottom to the absolute top just through hardwork.

Are you expecting any replies on this?

If not then it just seems like a way to avoid the ‘No UK discussion’ rule by just writing about a UK region with no one being able to criticise or comment upon it.

If yes then you’re encouraging discussion on a topic the mods explicitly asked us not to.

P.S.: We’ve already discussed all the ‘findings’ which ended up being nothing of note.

Is Spain not even considered as the next region anymore? I feel like it still has a chance of it being the next Pokemon region.

Pretty much every region speculation had been drowned out by the vocal UK supporters

Spain has been discussed as the next possibility too.

I wonder if the SEA-region boom had some weight to it...

Only because those past findings were done by fakers and 4chan. This is different.

Why is the UK not allowed to be discussed and yet others like Spain is?

Look, I'm not going to be discussing this any further.
