(I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but I couldn't find a better place, so here we go)

We all know it exists, but why does it have to be so incredibly hard to find online? A simple google search for a random pokemon name turns up an enormous amount of images, but you can count the RGB images showing up on one hand. And of those that DO show up, 95% lead to dead pages, which means you're stuck with the tiny thumbnail pictures.

So I wonder, do anyone know of a place I may aquire decently-sized (200x200 pixles or so) images of the original artwork of the 151 first pokemon?

Well, this kinda leaves the thread redundant, but I did manage to find an awesome site via google:
http://www.pikachu.cz/Karty/Karty.php3

Yes, it's the TCG section of a pokemon site, but the cards featured here are not scans, but mockups, and the illustration used in place of the original card artwork is indeed from RGB. Joy.

Looking through my old guide, I see Pikachu started out really round, almost a circle. Now he looks like a stretchy mouse.

Perhaps that's why Americans thought that it was nauseatingly cute back in '98...
