What did you think of the older side games, compared to the newer ones?

Personally, the earliest ones appealed much more to me than many others, but that's just because I started this series with them.

Well, Pokémon Pinball R/S is light years ahead of the original game, the others I can't speak for.

I definitely prefer the newer spin-offs. No competition. Mystery Dungeon, Pokemon Ranger, Colosseum/XD, Rumble... so many great games. The earlier spin-offs felt lacking and more like cheap-cash ins than serious efforts (although, there were some gems too).

New ones as the old ones feel like there just for marketing rather then gaming.

The newer ones are great games and seem more then just another marketing tool.

I never really enjoyed the older side games, pinball was always boring to me.
