I wrote this piece because the game cutscene and characters forget about Leon when he was hurt. GDH has both Hop and Victor suffer stress after the Eternatus battle.
If SWSH had voice acting that scene could be emotional. First character in a Pokemon game brought to near-death. Game Freak should put a lot of work into a scene like this.
They have Hop display more emotion when he had lost the league. Kid, your brother is hurt.
In Twilight Wings he reacted realistically when his partner ran away.
Hop' s Japanese voice actor should had voiced him in the games.

Perhaps Hop helped Leon while the player is battling Eternatus before it went Eternamax.

Like, I picture the scene like this:

Victor: Hop you help Leon. I'll take this.
Hop: You got it! *runs over to Leon*

Hop tells Charizard to take Leon to safety after the first phase.

Of course Chaizrd would likely hesitate at first since it is also worried about Hop and Victor.

They insist Charizard must go and he does.

After the battle, Victor and Hop visit Leon when he wakes up. The Champion recovered quickly.
This scene should be in the game.
