New Feature: Adventure Effects
Along with the introduction of these two Pokémon, Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh will also see the launch of a new feature known as Adventure Effects. Adventure Effects are activated when a special move is used outside of battles, causing special in-game bonuses to become active. Trainers who catch Origin Forme Dialga with Roar of Time or Origin Forme Palkia with Spacial Rend during Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh will be able to activate these Adventure Effects.
Origin Forme Dialga - Roar of Time
Trainers will be able to activate the Adventure Effect associated with Roar of Time by using 5,000 Stardust and 5 Dialga Candy. When activated, if the Trainer uses an Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, Lucky Egg, and/or Star Pieces, it will temporarily pauses the timer for 6 minutes, allowing the effects of those items to be extended. Trainers can further extend the Adventure Effect in increments of 6 minutes by using more Stardust and Dialga Candy, up to 2 hours each time, and for a maximum of 24 hours. Once the Roar of Time Adventure Effect ends, the timer on any active items will resume counting down. Roar of Time cannot be active at the same time as any other Adventure Effect.
Origin Forme Palkia - Spacial Rend
Trainers will be able to activate the Adventure Effect associated with Spacial Rend by using 5,000 Stardust and 5 Palkia Candy. When activated, it will temporarily increases the distance at which the Trainer can encounter wild Pokémon for 10 minutes. Trainers can further extend the Adventure Effect in increments of 10 minutes by using more Stardust and Palkia Candy, up to 2 hours each time, and for a maximum of 24 hours. Once the Spacial Rend Adventure Effect ends, Trainers will only encounter wild Pokémon within normal distance limits. Spacial Rend cannot be active at the same time as any other Adventure Effect.
Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Los Angeles Live Event
As previously announced, the GO Tour will begin with a 2-day event that will be held in-person in the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles on February 17th and 18th, running between 9:00am and 5:00pm (PST) on each day. Event Bonuses and Activities
Space-time anomalies
Space-time anomalies are mysterious phenomena connecting the current world to the distant past. A space-time anomaly will occur for the last thirty minutes of every hour between 9:00am and 5:00pm (PST) on the day of the event. During these space-time anomalies, the following event bonuses will be active for ticket holders:
- Different Pokémon will appear in raids, including Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia
- Additional Pokémon will appear in all habitats
- Unown H, Unown I, Unown S, and Unown U will be attracted to Incense, excluding Daily Adventure Incense
Rotom will be causing mischief at the Los Angeles event. Trainers will need to work together to work out a secret code that will unlock an encounter with Rotom. Once deciphered by Trainers at the live event in the Rose Bowl Stadium, it will be available to be redeemed by Trainers worldwide.
Party Play
Trainers using the Party Play feature during the live event will receive Party Play challenges exclusive to the event, rewarding encounters with Regirock, Regice, Registeel, and Regigigas when completed.

Trainers without the Los Angeles ticket or Citywide Gameplay add-on can still encounter Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia from Raids, but they may not appear as Shiny, and will not have or be able to learn their featured attacks until the Global event.

White-Striped Basculin will appear on Routes during the event. Please note that White-Striped Basculin cannot currently evolve in Pokémon GO.
Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Global
As previously announced, the GO Tourglobal in-game event which will be held on February 24th and 25th, running from 10:00am to 6:00pm local time on both days. Trainers from all over the world can participate in this global event without tickets. Event Bonuses and Activities
Space-time anomalies
Space-time anomalies will occur only during the Ancient Grove and Geothermal Lagoon habitat hours.
- Ancient Grove: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time
- Geothermal Lagoon: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time
- Different Pokémon will appear in raids, including Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia
- Additional Pokémon will appear in all habitats
- Unown H, Unown I, Unown S, and Unown U will be attracted to Incense, excluding Daily Adventure Incense
Trainers will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Turtwig, Shiny Chimchar, Shiny Piplup, Shiny Stunky, Shiny costumed Pokémon, and more, and an increased chance of Shiny Hisuian Voltorb, Shiny Hisuian Qwilfish, Shiny Pachirisu, Shiny Chatot, and Shiny Carnivine hatching from Eggs.
Party Play
Trainers using the Party Play feature during the Global event will receive Party Play challenges exclusive to the event, rewarding encounters with Regigigas when completed.
