Otherworldly Encounter Story Event returns to Pokémon Masters EX, alongside Seasonal Scouts featuring past Halloween-themed Sync Pairs

Halloween is right around the corner, and in celebration, Pokémon Masters EX will be seeing a rerun of last year's Otherworldly Encounter Story Event. A collection of Seasonal Sync Pairs from the last 3 years are also making their return in a pair of Seasonal Scouts.

Story Event: Otherworldly Encounter
This event focuses on Iris, Allister, and the Hex Maniac Helena as they investigate claims about a real monster, not of the pocket variety, having shown up on Pasio, will run through until October 31st, at 10:59pm (PDT). The event originally ran from October 17th to November 3rd, 2022.

While participating in event battles, players will be able to earn Pumpkin Ticket A and Pumpkin Ticket A+ items, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable rewards including the event-exclusive Song Key No. 00034, which allows the song "The Midnight Parade" to be played in the Jukebox.

Players can also obtain Event Medals and Gems for completing special missions during the event. Completing the Poipole's Chosen Path story stage in this event will allow players to team-up with an exclusive 3★ Sync Pair, Helena (Hex Maniac) & Haunter, a Ghost-type Tech Role pair with an expanded sync grid. After unlocking Helena & Haunter, players will be able to exchange their Pumpkin Ticket A and Pumpkin Ticket A+ for items to improve the pair's potential and move level, as well as Custom Sync Orbs for the pair.

All rewards, with the exception of the Song Key, can be claimed even if players have previously completed the event during its previous runs

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Iris (Fall 2022) & Naganadel, Allister (Fall 2022) & Gourgeist:+60% (x1.6) bonus rewards
• Phoebe (Fall 2023) & Cofagrigus, Roxanne (Fall 2023) & Runerigus, Morty (Fall 2021) & Banette, Caitlin (Fall 2021) & Sableye, Acerola (Fall 2020) & Mimikyu, Hilbert (Fall 2020) & Mightyena: +40% (x1.4) bonus rewards
• All other Poison-type and Ghost-type sync pairs : +20% (x1.2) bonus rewards

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Iris (Fall 2022) & Naganadel, Allister (Fall 2022) & Gourgeist, and Morty (Fall 2021) & Banette would grant a combined +160% (x2.6) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing the Otherworldly Encounter event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• Leftover Pumpkin Ticket A and Pumpkin Ticket A+ will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes

Seasonal Scouts
The Super Spotlight Seasonal Scout, Seasonal Tiered Scout, and Seasonal Featured Ticket Scout offer players a limited-time opportunity to scout the featured sync pairs from the Otherworldly Encounter event, along with other past Fall Seasonal Sync pairs.

The Super Spotlight Seasonal Scout includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for x100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used up to 3 times per day during the entire length of the scout.

The Seasonal Tiered Scout has five tiers, each of which is a Sync Pair Scout ×11. Players are able to scout once on each tier by using Paid Gems, with the amount of gems increasing with each tier. Additionally, Tiers 2 through 5 grant the player additional in-game rewards.

• Tier 1: 1,000 Paid Gems
• Tier 2: 1,500 Paid Gems - 5★ Power-Ups ×3
• Tier 3: 2,000 Paid Gems - 5★ Great Scout Ticket P, which can be used in the Seasonal Featured Ticket Scout
• Tier 4: 2,500 Paid Gems - 5★ Power-Ups ×7
• Tier 5: 3,000 Paid Gems - Player's choice of 5★ Sync Pairs from those included in the scout

The Super Spotlight Seasonal Scout and Seasonal Tiered Scout will both run until October 31st, at 10:59pm (PDT). The associated Seasonal Featured Ticket Scout meanwhile runs through to November 7th, at 9:59pm (PST). All tickets must be used prior to this scout ending.
