In the high precipices of the Paldonian Mountains, in the snow capped peaks there is an Academy. It is the Paldonia Academy. Here, people train with Pokémon for Battles, Contests, Musicals and the Pokéathalon. Not an amazingly Academic school, it focuses not on preparing people for jobs in later life, but making the best battlers, stars and athletes to go out into the world and win. The Academy is intensely competitive and only takes in the best trainers.
In this RP I'm going to focus more on the 'extra-curricular' sides of training, like Musicals and Contests, although Battling will still feauture prominently. Hopefully it will be more action packed than the other Academies that I have done in the past.

The Houses
The Houses are picked by random selection. Each has a balanced set of battlers, musicians and athletes.
There are eight Houses, for the boys:
Lancing
Wallacon
Magno
Webbon
For the Girls
Cynthein
Fantinas
Kunning
Hathway
For the sake of the RP all boys are in Lancing and all girls in Hathway

Personality: Sam's competitive in a joking fashion, not wanting to be beaten but accepting the eventuality that he's never going to be the best at everything. He is kind and witty, with an extremely black sense of humour. He likes intelligent people and hates those who are trying to dumb themselves down, or who are cruel in social situations or hypocritical.
Appearance: Sam's about average height, at 5'11" and quite muscly. He has a slightly tanned body and a brown fringe, which is impossible to control. He has grey eyes and a small nose. He usually wears jeans and T-shirt with his favourite white hoodie, and when competing in Athletics wears his Rustboro District vest.
History: Sam went to a local Rustboro school, where he was picked on quite a bit by the other boys because of his intelligence. He found refuge in the local Athletics Club, and spent more and more time training there with his Pokémon. He started to compete and wasn't too bad, doing well in inter-district Cross-Country competitions. He qualified for Regionals and even went to the Nationals, although didn't do too well there. His Pokémon have always been his athletic partners, and his battlers, and most importantly his companions.
Pokémon:
Infernape-M-Iron Fist: Sam's running partner and boxing opponent much of the time. He is also Sam's best battler.
Snorlax-M-Thick Fat: Nicknamed Sumo Snorlax is a huge powerhouse in Sam's team
Poliwrath-M-Damp: A key part of Sam's Team
Gender: Male

Personality: Isabelle is quite, rarely speaking in conversation. She is kind and generous when she does show some personality. She is shy around boys and nervous in groups. When she sings she is a completely different person, showing fire and passion.
Appearance: Isabelle is 5'4", with pale skin and dark flowing hair. She has haunting grey eyes that look out on the world intelligently. People have described her as haunting, with her slender body. She usually dresses in grey or black, with cardigans and tights.
History: She went to an acting school at an early age, and soon discovered a talent for singing. She took part in her first musical as one of the chorus, but since then has got some main parts and even performed in Nimbasa. She formed a Gaellic band with her Pokémon but they had to split when she came to Paldonia.
Pokémon: Kricketune-M-Swarm-Isabelle's violinist and main battler shen she needs it.
