Palentine's Story Event, Seasonal Scout and Gem Specials in Pokemon Masters EX

February brings new seasonal content to Pokémon Masters EX, with a new Story Event and content in celebration of Palentine's Day. Palentine's Day is just like Valentine's Day, only instead of celebrating romantic love, it's for celebrating your love for your friends and pals. The Sweet Shenanigans event will run through to February 18th at 9:59pm (PST), and is accompanied by a Seasonal Scout focused on Marnie, who features in the new Story Event.

Story Event: Sweet Shenanigans
This story event features Marnie and Bea in new seasonal outfits, as they work to solve problems being caused throughout Paiso by Team Heartbreak, a group of heartbroken Team Break members. Players will earn Sweet Ticket and Super Sweet Tickets for completing stages within the event, which can be exchanged for a variety of in-game rewards. Special badges and other in-game rewards, including BP Points and up to 2120 gems, can also be earned from battle completion rewards and for completing missions in this event.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Steel- and Ice-type Sync Pairs: + 20% (1.2) bonus items
• Dawn (Palentines 2021) & Alcremie, Serena (Palentines 2021) & Whimsicott: +40% (x1.4) bonus items
• Bea (Palentines 2022) & Vinnilluxe, Marnie (Palentines 2022) & Mawile: +60% (x1.6) bonus items

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Dawn (Palentines 2021) & Alcremie, Serena (Palentines 2021) & Whimsicott, and Marnie (Palentines 2022) & Mawile would grant a combined +140% (x2.4) rewards.

Special log-in bonuses will also be distributed as a tie-in to this event until February 16th at 9:59pm. The rewards are as follows

• Day 1: 20 Skip Tickets
• Day 2: 100 Gems
• Day 3: 100 Gems
• Day 4: 100 Gems
• Day 5: 20 Skip Tickets
• Day 5: 100 gems
• Day 7: 100 Gems
• Day 8: 100 Gems
• Day 9: 20 Skip Tickets
• Day 10: 100 Gems
• Day 11: 100 Gems
• Day 12: 100 Gems
• Day 13: 100 Gems
• Day 14: 20 Skip Tickets

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 10:00pm (PST).
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• Remaining Sweet Tickets and Super Sweet Tickets will be automatically converted to coins at the end of this event, with 10 coins per remaining item being delivered to players in their Present Boxes.

Marnie Seasonal Scout
This Marnie Seasonal Scout banner gives players the opportunity to scout Marnie (Pallentine's 2022) & Mawile. This 5★ Steel-type Tech Sync Pair has an expanded Sync Grid, and the potential to be raised to 6★ EX, which changes the colour of Marnie's outfit to be primarily pink and white. Like several other recently added Sync Pairs, Marnie (Pallentine's 2022) & Mawile has the ability to set a zone, with the Steel Wish attack creating a Steel Zone. This Scout banner will remain available until February 18th at 9:59pm (PST).

In addition to the regular Seasonal Scout, the new sync pair is also available in a Tiered Scout which requires paid gems. Tiers 5 and 10 of this scout award special tickets to use in the Ticket Scout, with the ticket at Level 10 guarenteeing a Marnie (Palentine's 2022) & Mawile.

The Seasonal Scout and Seasonal Tiered Scout will both run until February 18th at 9:59pm (PST). The associated Ticket Scout meanwhile runs through to February 25th, at 9:59pm (PST). Tickets must be used prior to this scout ending.



Event Gem Specials
In conjunction with the Palentine's Story event, four Event Gem Specials will be available in the in-game shop until February 16th, at 9:59pm (PST), offering discounted prices on paid gems.
