Phoebe & Cofagrigus arrive in Pokémon Masters EX in a new Seasonal Scout, launching alongside Halloween-themed The Haunted Museum Story Event

The spooky season is bringing a bountiful harvest worth of new content to Pokémon Masters EX, with a brand new Halloween-themed story event, The Haunted Museum, making its debut today alongside Seasonal Scouts featuring Phoebe in a fresh seasonal outfit together with her new sync partner Cofagrigus. Both the event and seasonal scouts will run through to October 31st.

Story Event: The Haunted Museum
In this latest Story Event with a Halloween twist, The Haunted Museum stars Phoebe, Roxanne, and Lenora as they work to investigate the strange rumors circulating about artifacts being hosted in a new exhibit at the museum. This event will run through to October 31st, at 10:59pm (PDT).

By completing battles during this event, players will be able to earn Prize Coins, which must be used to unlock each part of the event's story from the event's Prize Box. Players can also acquire a range of special rewards from their Prize Box pulls, including 5★ Scout Tickets, Special Skill Feather 3 and 4, a 5★ Power-Up, and a Tech Move Candy Coin. Players can also obtain Event Medals and Gems for completing special missions during the event.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Phoebe (Fall 2023) & Cofagrigus: +60% (x1.6) bonus rewards
• Iris (Fall 2022) & Naganadel, Allister (Fall 2022) & Gourgeist, Morty (Fall 2021) & Banette, Caitlin (Fall 2021) & Sableye, Acerola (Fall 2020) & Mimikyu, : +40% (x1.4) bonus rewards
• All other Ghost- and Poison-type sync pairs: +20% (x1.2) bonus rewards

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Phoebe (Fall 2023) & Cofagrigus, Iris (Fall 2022) & Naganadel, Allister (Fall 2022) & Gourgeist would grant a combined +140% (x2.4) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing The Haunted Museum event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• Leftover Prize Coins will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes

Limited-Time Expedition Areas and Locations in the Trainer Lodge
Until October 31st, at 10:59pm (PDT), limited-time locations themed around The Haunted Museum story event will be available during interactions at the Trainer Lodge, along with a Limited-Time Expedition Area. Players will be able to form a Special Team in this Expedition Area that can receive substantial amounts of Expedition Awards. Drop-In Events will not appear for Special Teams on Expeditions. Once the limited-time expedition area disappears, Special Teams will be automatically disbanded, with any unclaimed items able to be received by going to the expedition screen.

Log-in Bonus
The Haunted Museum includes a log-in bonus over 14 days. Players can receive these bonuses up until October 28th at 10:59pm (PDT), so even if you're a couple of days late starting the event you'll still have the chance to receive all of the available gifts.

New Sync Pairs make their debut in Halloween-themed Scouts
Several will be making their debut over the next week alongside The Haunted Museum story event.

Phoebe Seasonal Scouts
The Phoebe Seasonal Scout offer players an opportunity to scout this brand new seasonal 5★ sync pair, who make their debut today as part of The Haunted Museum Story Event.

Phoebe (Fall 2023) & Cofagrigus are a Ghost-type Support Sync Pair with an unlockable Tech EX Role. When raised to 6★ EX, Phoebe's outfit is shifted to a primarily white design, with blue accents. Phoebe & Cofagrigus are able to raise the entire team's Defense and Sp. Def by a full 4 stat ranks, as well as applying the Stat Reduction Defense effect, in a single application of their It's Lively Now! Status Move. On top of this, they will buff their entire team's Attack and Sp. Attack by one stat rank every time their attack moves are successful, thanks to their Passive Skills. Add on their Phantom Force move, which prevents all opponents moves hitting Cofagrigus for a limited period of time, and Passive Skills which ignore opponent's Attack and Sp. Attack buffs as well as protecting against critical hits, and this pair are well equipped to act as an exceptional tank to support your team. Phoebe's Seasonal Scout gives players a bonus present for the first three times players perform a Sync Pair Scout x11, awarding a Support Move Candy Coin each time. This Seasonal Scout also include a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for x100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.

In addition to the regular Seasonal Scout, players can also take advantage of a Phoebe Seasonal Tiered Scout. This scout has ten tiers, each of which is a Sync Pair Scout ×11. Players are able to scout once on each tier by using Paid Gems, with the amount of gems increasing with each tier. Additionally, Tiers 5 and grants the player special tickets to use in an associated Phoebe Seasonal Featured Ticket Scout and Phoebe Seasonal Guaranteed Ticket Scout.

Roxanne & Runerigus arrive later this week
Roxanne, who also has a starring role in The Haunted Museum alongside Phoebe, will debut their new seasonal sync pair in 2 days time in their own separate Seasonal Scout. This scout will begin on the highly appropriate date of October 13th, at 11:00pm (PDT), running through to October 31st, at 10:59pm (PDT).
