Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Pachirisu the only Electric-type that's not part of a three-stage evolution chain?
Voltorb, Electrike, Plusle & Minun, and Chinchou aren't.

I don't think we're even sure it's electric- they said electic Poké will be important but did they say this Poké is electic too?
Did you really pay attention? It's about Lucario's special TCG card, not the new Pokémon...I don't get why so many people think it could be a Pachirisu evolution. The thing looks as big as Pachirisu itself.
Anyway, this was shown in the preview for next week's Pokemon Sunday:

This makes me wonder if CoroCoro will in fact reveal what it is next week. It seems kinda weird for Pokemon Sunday to have a segment where we see someone draw it (I'm assuming that's what's going on) but we don't get to see what he's drawing.
Well, Gloom shrinks upon evolving into Bellossom, so an evo where a Pokemon remains the same height isn't all that far fetched.I don't get why so many people think it could be a Pachirisu evolution. The thing looks as big as Pachirisu itself.
But if it is a pre-evolved, that means it will have to be a baby. A baby is far smaller than its evolved form. Cleffa, Togepi, Chilgling, azurill etc.
Togepi is classed as a baby Pokemon.
It can't breed,
evolves via happiness
and is heavily associated with eggs.
It IS a baby Pokemon.
Bulbapedia said:Togepi and Riolu
Togepi may or may not be classified as a baby Pokémon, because when it was introduced in Gold and Silver it was not a predecessor of an existing Pokémon, and it was revealed in the anime before Togetic was. However, due to its especially baby-like manner as depicted in the anime, as well as its inability to breed, it is assumed to be a baby Pokémon. This is also true of Riolu, which was introduced in Generation IV along with its evolution, Lucario, although unlike Togetic and Togepi, Lucario was revealed to the public before Riolu. Additionally, the only way to obtain Togepi or Riolu in the games they first appeared in was to receive them as an egg from an NPC.
