Goh getting a Dynamax band for me indirectly confirms he gets all three starters so he can show their Gigamax forms. What i also find interesting is that there are 2 wishing stars falling, because Ash already has one. That for me foreshadows Chloe becoming a trainer and gets a dynamax band as well.

I think as well that Dragapult belongs to a trainer, considering it hasn't been shown big unlike the wild mons.

Personally, I won't put much stock into the DD arc since it wasn't exactly interesting in the games (outside of the past-DD story with the rampaging Pokemon) and they're going to cram this one within the span of a month.

It's a different setting but recreating the pose for a new Mewtwo would be criminal. They didn't do that in Movie 16 despite using a cheapened version of the real Mewtwo's backstory.

I personally liked M16 Mewtwo. It was different, but its backstory and voice acting were appealing to me.

The fact that we're supposedly getting the entire DD arc and a Mewtwo episode fairly soon into this series definitely has me piqued regarding what's in store for the rest of the series. Like, sure, there's two more DLCs that the writers can work with, but if the writers can cram the entire plot of the main game into four episodes (plus a little bit of foreshadowing in some of the earlier episodes), then two DLCs honestly doesn't sound like a lot.

Nah. I have a feeling this Mewtwo will not have any relation to the DD plot.

So watching the preview it seems that Meowth is at the top of the summit tower in Hammerlocke Gym

So instead of Leon vs Meowth we might get:

Eternatus vs Giga Meowth

Not going to lie, this preview was pretty hype. In particular, the scene with Ash flying around Galar on Dragonite and the one with Gou standing in the Wild Area watching the wishing stars looked really cool to me. Gigantamax Meowth is fun surprise, it'll be funny if it actually holds it's own against Leon. Mewtwo gave me serious MSB vibes, so that's one thing I'm really excited for.

I don't expect this arc to be anything amazing, but it looks to be a fun ride regardless.

He's not necessarily fighting against Leon. He's on the Tower Summit, so he could also be fighting Ash.

It just looks all flash and none of the substance from the games.

Not gonna lie, this trailer is pretty good. We got some music to set up the stakes and Rose looks pretty dellusional in his shots (reverse Lusamine?). Curious about Mewtwo, it looks gorgeous here.

I’m not too keen on Eternatus looking like a weird Dinosaur King CGI monster, but I guess I’ll have to see more of it to judge.
