It is not your business if starts affecting other people, keep that in mind.

But let's end the discussion here, no reason to go further off-topic.
It didn't. If I feel that a series like SM is not going to be very good then that is my opinion.

It seems like we'll have the largest main cast yet in this series.

I wonder how they'll balance screentime/focus throughout the main cast. I doubt it'll be perfect since the writers have a hard enough time with just three characters. If I had to guess, Lillie will probably have the most focus, Kaiwe and Mallow will have a decent amount but not as much as Lillie, Lana and Sophocles will get the least, and Kukui/Oak aren't even main characters and will just be recurring. Especially since I feel like the school thing isn't going to be the whole series but the first major arc/something that is revisited every now and then.

On the subject of the new art OMFG the characters are so much better proportioned! I am so happy I could cry.

RE my specialist subject:
1. TRio looks wonderfully goofy (and so beautifully proportioned!), am not expecting Musashi to look this stupid as standard in the actual animation though.
2. Their uniforms have gone back to being more similar to the original ones, yay for small modifications which are to my liking.
3. Both Sonansu and Musashi seem to have shrunk. Why is she so much shorter than Kojiro? Till now, unless Iwane is animating, they are almost of the exact same height. Previous character sheets have confirmed the same.
4. I actually really like New!Kojiro...

One thing I've gotta say

Priceless

Guys, word of advice:

Do not tell other users to 'drop it. Only moderators and admins may do so and if then it is very sparingly. It is kind of disrespectful and borders of mini-modding.

If you do not want to continue the conversation then leave it or move on.

Please read this post on how to approach debates and arguments - ATTENTION: - Note on arguments and debates

3. When you feel you are getting too into a heated debate or even in an argument, sometimes it’s best to take a step back and let it go. That is one of the hardest things to do, but sometimes it’s the most effective.

Tomioka probably realized that the status quo in Pokemon anime will never end so he moved on. Makes sense. xD
Probably because of the backlash received during the Kalos league finals. Some people wanted writers to leave writing, so he didn't want to get death threatens. It was a situation similar to what happened when Mass effect 3 released.

Right now, SM anime looks like it would the worst of the show in my opinion. Even more worse than Kanto, Unova and potentially Kalos if Greninja is released. Nothing from the trailers have got me hyped for the series.
Yes, in your opinion is true, since you is someone is much better than the staff that know everything just based from trailer.

I doubt that. They would have been planning ahead for the Sun and Moon anime long before the Kalos League aired, and I'm sure that most major staffing roles were already decided. I also doubt that he would base his career decisions upon the empty threats of a tiny minority of immature fans (not that I'm aware of any actual death threats being made in this instance).

If the Kalos League backlash were to greatly affect the anime's future, you will see it midway in Sun & Moon (rating-wise and any noticeable changes that seems to be a last-minute add-on).

Key animation for episodes of Pokemon is miraculously made five months before airing. The average storyboard takes three weeks to create and the average script two weeks. Even with Tomioka Atsuhiro's speed that means scripting is being done seven or so months before an episode airs. This is to say nothing of Japanese fans having more understanding of how animation production works than silly western fans and have an understanding that the script writer isn't the end-all-be-all for a series.

Yeah, that wouldn't really make any sense at all. I'm sure that they would have been working on SM well before the Kalos League finale happened. They do have to plan out the episodes well ahead of time. Plus, I don't think he'd suddenly leave based on fans being upset over Ash losing. I don't think I've heard about the writers getting death threats and I seriously hope that didn't happen. I sadly wouldn't be surprised, as I have seen fans of other series do that with writers too, but the change in head writer would have been determined probably at least a few months before the Kalos League started.

The staff will never get death threats. Western fans consistently refuse to learn their names, let alone know anything about how to go about contacting these people.

Some of the fans certainly had no issues complaining to Akemi Omode on Twitter when their Amourshipping fantasies didn't come true.

What are you talking about? I never claimed nor implied to be someone much better than stuff and know everything from the trailer. All I said was that nothing so far has made SM anime appealing for me.

Sending a death threat is on a whole different level of nastiness to merely complaining though.

This looks like it may be interesting, but I will still just watch the first few episodes to get an idea of what the S&M series will be like and decide from there if I want to keep watching it. Perhaps if the whole school thing turns out to (somehow) be amusing, I'll keep following it... but I will remain skeptical about that.

I think I'm liking the animation now - it's really only Ash's hairdo that I still don't like.

True. I was mainly addressing the part about the fans not knowing how to contact the staff.
