"Alright." JT agreed and quickly caught up to her. *Wow. That went better than I thought. Although I do have a hand print on my right cheek.* JT thought with a goof grin on his face.
Dante appeared high in a tree. Suddenly, a very familiar voice echoed through the school via the Com.
"Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah~~" Sang the voice of Travis Chorcino. It was rich, full of passion and soulful. "Was up, ghouls and demons of the night?! Your man, the boy with the plan, Travis, at your service. Now, what's a Halloween without me?! Now, let's let those partygoers head back to the dorms quiet-like. Here's a little something I like to call Try A Little Tenderness. Hit it, Kai." Travis disk-jockeyed.
Try A Little Tenderness by Chris Brown
This Christmas
-------
Oh she may be weary
Them young girls, they do get weary
Wearin' that same old shaggy dress
Oh, when she gets weary, try a little tenderness
You know she's waiting, just anticipating
For the things she'll never posses
While she's there waiting
Try, oh just a little, oh just a little little little tenderness
That's what I said, a little tenderness
It's all you gotta do
It's not, ha, oo just sentimental, no
She has, she has, she has
Her griefs and cares
But the soft words spoke so gentle, yea
And it makes it easier, easier
To bare
You won't regret it no
Them young girls, they don't forget it
Love is their own, their own, happiness
But it's all, it's all, so simple now
All you gotta do is try a little tenderness
Won't you show her won't her, won't you show her that you love her
You wanna squeeze her, don't tease her, neva leave her
You got want to want to just try a little tenderness
You gotta show her that you want it, now one above her now
Squeeze her, don't tease her, neva leave her
Hold her, grab her softly now
And try a little tenderness
You ota listen to me, don't leave
Don't cheat her now
Squeeze her, don't cheat her, neva leave her
Gotta show her na na na heeyyyyyy hey!
You got to know what to do, don't be a fool
You need to try this now
Just try a little tenderness
Take it from me you don't wanna let her leave
Squeeze her, don't tease, neva leave
You got to want to try, juss try, juss try, a little tenderness
Is there a witness in the building tonight
You gotta want to want to try, just try a little tenderness
Try a little tenderness
Squeeze her, don't tease her, neva leave her
Hold her, grab her softly now
Just try a little... tenderness
Ellery was sittin under a three a sheet of paper between his legs and a pencil right next to him he ad his hands behind his head and was staring at the sky. "Uhhhh," he sighed. "It feels good to be in peace."
JT was on the basketball court with Ty and they were playing a game against two Gyarados Blues who foolishly thought that they could beat JT and Ty.
"Ty!" JT called for the ball and received a crisp pass from his friend. He took a quick jump shot over one of their opponents and walked off the court before the ball even sank through the net. "Game." JT said as soon as he heard the familiar swish that accompanies a ball going through the basket cleanly.
"That's my boy." Ty gave JT a high five and they sat down on the grass next to the court.
"I forgot to ask, how did you get her to forgive you?" JT asked Ty while tossing the ball up and down to himself.
"Easy. Blamed you for everything." Ty said in a tone that made it clear that he was being completely serious.
"You're lucky I'm happy right now." JT said warningly before both boys shared a laugh.
Ellery leaned his head back and started thinking. "It's just weird, I mean my life it's getting weirder by the day and yet I can't solve a math problem!" he yelled turning back to the sheet. "DAMN MATH"
"Shouldn't we be doing Drew's assignment on contest strategies involving weather?" JT asked Ty, who was shocked to hear these words from his best friend. "I mean we should at least put some effort in, right?"
"Man that girl really messed up your brain." Ty was laughing but JT just glared at him. "Sorry." Ty muttered and admitted defeat. The two of them pulled their laptops out of their bags and began to work.
Navati was in a hammack she construct herself, sleeping blissfully. She was wearing her standard clothing - hig hugger jeans, Nikes with a higher heel than norm, a black shirt that had a red rose on the front and back.
"Hail and Blizzard is always a good one. Same with Rain Dance and Thunder." JT was running through the obvious answers for their work.
"Don't forget Sunny Day and Fire Blast or Solar Beam" Ty said after a moment and JT added to his list. "Now what else?" Both boys were silent for a couple of minutes before JT spoke.
"Sandstorm is weather right? So run Sandstorm and get a Garchomp out there. That counts, right."
"Damn straight it counts." Ty muttered and both boys added another item to their growing papers.
"Where the hell is he?" Ellery kept walking around. "I know maybe the poor dude managed to score with that girl, he shoul dbe back by now though," Ellery shrugged.
"And this is what we get for trying to do schoolwork right." Ty muttered as he and JT were sitting in front of a half completed list and felt they were hopeless to finish.
"Well..." JT started.
"She's not watching. There's no point." Ty muttered irritably.
"Shut up." JT said and looked away from Ty.
"You're pathetic." Ty countered.
"And you're an ass." JT finished the conversation.
Navati noticed she wasn't alone. She looked around and saw Ellery. "Sugar!" She said, walking up to Ellery. "You look lost." She said, as not often people go up to her little seclusion spot. Usually it's because people have misread directions.
