"Another drink." James said in a voice devoid of emotion and soon another glass joined the trio of empty glasses next to him. "Cheers." James said bitterly before taking a sip of his latest drink.
"You're a mess kid." The bartender said after a moment.
"Hmmm" Allison muttered and threw her poke ball up in the air. "Yeah!" Charizard roared. "Okay surf's up dude" Allison said and climbed on her Charizard's back.
"I thought I'd find you here." Ty said as he sat down on the stool next to James.
"Yeah I know. I'm predictable. Shoot me." James muttered.
"You can't keep beating yourself up about stuff you did in the past. It's killing you." Ty insisted but James shrugged him off.
"Why not? It's only people I care about that get hurt by my actions, but I continue to dodge the bullet. Literally." James pointed out.
"Again that's not your fault." Ty tried to point out.
"That may not be my fault, but everything else is. Ty, get out of here alright? I don't want to be seen like this." James insisted and Ty shook his head sadly, but he did leave.
Sophie and Trisha were following Lucia, who was still dragging Tiffany and Maddie off, to a secluded part of the woods. Only, Trisha tripped, accidently revealing herself to Lucia. "Uh, hi?" She said nervously. "Wanna help me get rid of them?" Lucia asked. "Yes, please!" Sophie said, answering for Trisha. She threw Maddie to the duo. "She's all yours." She said.
They screamed for a solid 6 seconds before the sound of tearing flesh interruted the screaming.
"Another drink." James was finally buzzed and his speech was slightly slurred. There was a hint of a smile on his face, but it was clear that this was more of irony than anything else.
"Kid I..." The bartender hesitated, but James just threw his wallet onto the bar and showed the bartender the credit card and load of currency inside.
"Another drink." James said angrily. The bartender just shook his head sadly and made James another drink.
"Jake." James glared at him. "The fun's not over because there was no fun to begin with." He stood up shakily and threw a bunch of bills onto the bar before turning back to Jake. "Did you really have to come here? And more importantly how did you know to come here?"
