"You better not." James said warningly. "And it's not like you could beat me at this game." He said slyly to Alexa. "So I guess I'm not all that worried. Plus Kyle would be willing to help me with this mission."
"I thought you might have said something like that." James laughed. "Okay okay, I won't keep all of them away... but I will make it very clear what will happen to them if they hurt my daughter."
"Wait, it's a little hyprocitical of you, you're gonna teach your son to be like you, but you're gonna keep guys like you, Kyle and your son away from her." Alexa just chuckled.
"It's good because I'm protecting my little girl from getting her heart broken." James replied. He knew the point Alexa was trying to make, but he wasn't buying it. "And it doesn't need to be balanced to be good."
"Well, you can at least teach your son to treat girls better than you did." Alexa nodded her head.
Alex and Carey walked out of the stadium as Carey spun around while looking at the stars. "Wait, they got out." Ellery said as he motioned the bat to follow.
"Wow, the stars are so beautiful today." Carey said as she smiled while looking at the stars.
"Too easy." Alex chuckled.
"What?" Carey asked turning around.
"I see a beautiful star all right." he said as he looked at Carey.
"You're right, it was too easy," Carey laughed. "But it worked." she said as she walked over to Alex. "Anything else."
"Don't worry about that." James smiled. "I plan on teaching Dustin that women are in fact not toys. And I hope I managed to teach Kyle the same, although his actions so far tonight are making me think that maybe I didn't do enough."
"You're both old women watching a soap opera." James told Ellery and Alexa. "You look like it and you sound like it, and that's all I need to be convinced of that."
"Sorry, but I haven't gotten to see this much drama in a long time, plus with all the battles I've had I've lost some genre taste." Ellery said while stretching.
"I'm not old, I'm younger than you and I still look good." Alexa said to James. "I'm only 22"
"Well?" Carey asked Alex.
"Ever since we were kids, we've always been friends, and that was okay at first, but as we got older and our friendship got deeper, I started to develop deeper feelings also." Alex said while still looking into her eyes. "We said we had to date different people, because it'll be akward, but even though I've dated quite a few girls, it never felt really into them, I mean not really really, plus." Alex raised her chin with his hand. "I always feel better and comfortable around you Carey, and I like you a hell of a lot."
Carey just stared at him while she blushed even deeper.
"Yep, she's your sister all right, only someone related to you would stand there doing nothing." Alexa laughed ruffling Ellery's hair.
Alex just chuckled. "First time I've seen you not have something to say." Alex said as he lowered his head and kissed Carey with all the passion and love he had for her from all those years.
"Yes!" Alexa yelled. "No more whining about the I like him, no I don't thing." she said imitating Carey's tone of voice.
"Took the kid long enough." James had a huge smile on his face. "Alright Nuata, you can come home now, no need to spy on them now." James told his wife. "Although you could knock some sense into my cousin... that might be helpful."
Carey finally did something as she put her arms around Alex's neck and raised her right leg while she intensified the kiss. "Do it some other day I don't wanna watch my sister like this for too long." Ellery sighed.
"Come on, it's like a love story." Alexa chuckled.
