"Ok you know what might aswell do it and leave" she said starting the course. Running past obsticles and narrowly avoiding a trapdoor she made it to the balls.
"It's go time" she said running past a few and making her way but evidently falling off the edge into the water.
"Flips sake. Only 8 metres" she sighed swimming in the water, a burn on her arm.
Anny appeared in front of Chloe before throwing her to the ground and obliged Hale to wrap various blue nods around her body. "Sealing nods, you won't be able to transform.
"We need you in this Chloe, you were chosen as a member of this team and we don't know how the outcome might be," Carey pointed out with a nod from her head. She grabbed Chloe by the neck. "So, either quit your bitching and shut the fuck up or I'll shut you up and embarrass you in front of all this people."
Hale sighed as she decided to do the course next. She began running to the first part the flaming balls as she tried dodging them, though it was proving to be difficult.
Kyle looked at Carey and gave her a reassuring smile. He was pleased that she was taking charge of the Chloe situation because of how annoyed he was with her at the moment. Kyle then sat down on the starting line and took a deep breath. He closed his eyes and began painting a mental picture of how he would deal with every single obstacle on the course.
After the flaming balls, it was the rotating platforms, meaning she was at the 25 feet mark. These platforms are in various shapes and move at various speeds, with the last platform a triangle and the fastest moving.
Kyle opened his eyes once more. "Good job Miss Hale." Kyle hadn't broken that particular habit of his, even though Hale was now his teammate. "Carey, ladies first?" He asked, wanting to see if she wanted to go before him.
"Er hem, 8 metres!" coughed Chloe looking at Hibito.
"Not like I need thanks or well done since I didn't even flipping try or want to do it" she said angrily trying to get out of the blue rods.
"You okay?" Hibito asked Aria after she came back.
"All right," Carey began running through the course, moving aside and jumping over the flaming balls, she slid down from one of them and reached the obstacle course, beginning to dodge the stone fist and other obstacles with ease, the same trap that got Hale almost got her too but she managed to react in time she then spun on the ground; putting her hand on the floor and jumping over another obstacle. "Done," Carey smiled while panting, she tired out from all the moving around.
"No fucking way, how did you do that?" Hibito asked, his jaw dropped as he saw Carey walking back.
"Well, being Dante's disciple most of my training involves doing stuff without my powers so that it'll be easier when I do use them," Carey pointed out. "Besides, it was with courses like these ones that Kyle and I started training."
Kyle was next through the course, and like Carey, his expertise showed. He made it through the first two sections of the course with ease, and he then did a back hand spring over the trapdoor section. He paused for a brief moment before hopping from platform to platform. He reached the final platform before grinning and doing a front flip over the finish line, landing next to Carey. "You know, you beat me by a couple of seconds." He told Carey with a smile. "I'm slowing up."
"Yeah, but I'm more tired than you meaning I had to use more energy," Carey pointed out and turned to smile at Kyle holding her hand up to do a high five. "So we're even."
Kyle high fived Carey before smiling brightly. "What matters is that we're assured to advance to the next round." He told his cousin happily. "Because with those two fifties, we're going to be near the top of the leaderboard."
"All right, my turn," Hibito began running through the obstacle, dodging the flaming balls as he spun around jumping over them or using his sword that was strapped to his back to block the balls, turning around and making them bounce off the sword. He began going through the obstacles with great speed putting his hand on one of them and smiling. "Just one more!" he exclaimed with a smile but sidestepped as he stepped on one of the opening floor tiles. "Damn it," he groaned and fell down.
Aria watch Lifeguards fish Hibito out and pulled him onto dry land, where they cleaned him, dried him up, and gave him a clean change of clothes that was the same as the clothes the fairy had changed for him.
