Pokémon Battles - Tournament Style!

@LunarArrow

"BLANKET SHIELD!" Hearing the command from her trainer, Maya immediatedly proceeded with the tactic they trained many times before. Still holding purple thread in her mandibles, she swiftly cut through the web covering the ground with her forelegs and then lifted it quickly before her like a fishing net, catching most of the swirling hail and snow in it.
"You'll need to try a bit harder than this."

@Acrobatic Crobat

"There's still something else we can try," Arrow said, "Walrein, use Waterfall!"

The water, summoned by Walrein, washed away the Sticky Web, allowing the Ice Break Pokemon a little more freedom of movement.

"Now, Walrein, use Iron Head!" Arrow instructed Walrein.

Walrein began charging at Peter's Ariados, ready to hit it with Iron Head.

@LunarArrow
"THROW AND JUMP!" a quick thrust of Maya's forelegs threw her Blanket Shield over charging Walrein, tangling him and making him tumble forward as she jumped over him. Moment later, she stood over her immobilised enemy - and as soon as Peter gave her a signal with his hand, she bit into his neck, slowly healing her wounds with Leech Life.
"Now... prepare for Feel Stinger."

(Just a comment: looking at Peter vs. Arrow, I already notice that Maya the Ariados is too fast for Walrein to keep up. Maya has the speed/mobility advantage, but Walrein has constant recovery with Ice Body (ability) and can use the hail damage to its advantage, so beware, both sides!)

Your now going to help me look out for this stuff.
Also, @chibighost, I actually messed up our colors :p
"Sparkling Aria? That's cute. Rock Slide!" Danny ordered, as the Simisear directed its arms downwards, huge rocks crumbling on both Primarina and her Aria.
"Now, quick, Flamethrower!" Danny said, as Simisear opened its mouth with a huge jet of flames flying out towards Primarina.

@Acrobatic Crobat

Fell Stinger hit Walrein, rendering it unable to battle

"reiiiiinnn," the Ice Break Pokemon said.

"Walrein is unable to battle, Maya wins," the referee declared.

"Walrein, return," Arrow said, recalling Walrein to its Poke Ball, "you did your best out there, thank you."

Arrow got another Poke Ball out and said, "Now I know a thing or two about this Ariados. Go, Crobat!"

"Crobat!" the Bat Pokemon said as it emerged from its Poke Ball.

"This time, we're going first," Arrow said, "Crobat, use Air Slash!"

Crobat responded and used Air Slash.

@LunarArrow

"Parry with Sticky Web!"
Current caused by Crobat's Air Slash easily cut through white web Maya shot towards it, but it was still enough to greatly dampen the impact. It was still hailing, which gave Peter an idea.
"Make a cocoon from that ice!" Ariados proceeded to move around, catching larger chunks of ice in her web and tying them together into a large, sticky, round shape.
"Now hold onto it and be prepared to use it as a shield!"

@ThatAsianInTheCorner

Jake grinned. "You should check your Pokédex. Do you not know Flygon's typing?"

With ease, Flygon took the attack. It was part Ground-type, after all, and Ground-types are immune to Electric-type moves like Charge Beam.

"Great!" said Jake. "Flygon, go for a Dragon Rush!"

Immediately, Flygon encased itself in a draconic energy and flew at full speed towards the Eelektross. A move with such ferocity ought to dent Raiden.

@Zorchic

"...But it says 'fly' in the name!"
Raiden narrowly dodges the attack, and does a menacing glance towards Asian
"Alright, jeez, but that 'Ground Typing' is the key to our victory! Raiden, take 'em down with an Aqua Tail!"
Raiden covered it's tail with ...water energy...? And rushed towards Flygon.

@Doctor Celebi

“Froslass, huh?” Belinda muttered, her mind quickly mapping out her potential next move as she popped a ball off her belt. “Well then! Let’s roll, Ellen!” She shouted, sending out the drill-clawed mole with a flourish. The Excadrill glanced around at the stadium as if analyzing her surroundings, before casting her trainer a determined look.

“Since everyone’s itching for this to begin already, I’ll do the honors,” Belinda said. “Let’s kick this off with a Rock Slide!” On her command, a glowing ring of boulders appeared around Ellen, which she promptly fired at the Froslass without abandon.

@ThatAsianInTheCorner

Jake sighed. The utter cluelessness Asian had about Flygon was getting on his nerves.

"Look here," Jake said, pointing to his Pokédex entry on
Flygon and holding it over his head. "It says:

120px-330Flygon_AG_anime.png

'Flygon, the Mystic Pokémon. Known as the "Desert Spirit", this Pokémon generates sandstorms with the beating of its wings, which also make a singing sound.'

"You hear that?" yelled Jake. "Flygon's a Ground- and Dragon-type, meaning that Water-type attacks are also only neutral on it! Flygon, quick! Grab that Eelektross!"

"Flygon!" The Pokémon was full of determination. Flygon used both of its hands to catch Raiden's wet tail in midair.

"Slam it!" Jake ordered. (Not the move, just the action.)

Bam! Flygon made a quick jerking motion and whipped Raiden's body into the ground.

Jake knew that Eelektross' (and Flygon's) Ability,
Levitate, was one of the easiest Abilities to neutralize. The Pokémon simply had to make contact with the ground, taking away Levitate's hovering effect. So...

"Now, use EARTHQUAKE!" Jake yelled at the top of his lungs.

Flygon slammed its own tail into the ground, creating massive seismic shockwaves that shook the whole battlefield. Dust kicked up, the
sandstorm was amplifying the effect a bit by providing chip damage. Jake waited to see how the fallen EleFish Pokémon would take the attack.

@Rockium

The rocks slammed into Froslass, knocking her down, though she was quickly back in the air. Lena bit her lip, that attack seemed to do more damage than she was expecting, but she quickly regained her confidence. Lena called out, "Nice shot, now let's make sure that doesn't happen again! Froslass, use Hail!" Froslass' body briefly glowed as she summoned a violent hailstorm.

Lena was confident in her strategy, after summoning a hailstorm, Froslass' ability would activate, and she could take steps to ensure that her opponents would almost never get a chance to even land a hit. Lena's reflection of her strategy was cut off by her noticing that Froslass did not disappear into the hailstorm like she was supposed to. Lena knew something was wrong, Froslass looked about as confused as she was. "Wait, what's going...?" Realization quickly dawned on Lena. "Don't tell me that Excadrill has Mold Breaker..." She thought out loud. Lena sighed, this battle had quickly gotten a lot more difficult.

@Doctor Celebi

Belinda smirked in response, quickly taking the chance to press her advantage. “Ellen, Iron Head!” The Excadrill charged forward, her bladed forehead glinting silver in the hail.

@Rockium

The attack slammed into Froslass, sending her down again. Lena could tell that Froslass couldn't take much more at the rate they were going. But she knew that she had to remain calm, that things would only get worse if she got flustered. Still, with her main strategy being countered, she would have to improvise. "We can still turn this around Froslass! We can do this!" Lena called out. "Froslass, Confuse Ray!" On command, the Froslass fired a multicolored ball at the Excadrill. Lena knew that this would be a gamble, one that could hopefully pay off and help her turn the tide.

@Doctor Celebi

Unable to react to her trainer’s command of “Dodge, now!” in time, Ellen was hit by the multicolored ball, stunning her for a long while as she stood in place, leaving her vulnerable. “Ellen! Can you hear me? Use Iron Head again!” Belinda called out, to no avail - instead, the Excadrill charged a few wobbly steps forward and sunk her bladed forehead into the ground. “Damn!”
