Pokémon Battles - Tournament Style!

@Rockium

Lena smiled, she had bought herself some time, but she couldn't get too confident yet. "Now use Double Team!" Froslass glowed for a moment before being joined by multiple copies of herself. Lena had been planning on combining this with Froslass' ability, but with that no longer being an option, she hoped that it would still buy her enough time to begin mounting a decent offense. She would have to be careful with how she attacked, her plan would be meaningless if she gave away which Froslass was the real one.

@DannyDrawsaLot
The flamethrower barely did a scratch on Sayaka.
"Sayaka, Sparkling Aria, then Sparkling Aria again!"
Sayaka conjured a giant bubble and threw it at Simisear, and did it again.
@chibighost
"Now, Simisear, Shadow Claw, twice!" Danny yelled, as Simisear slashed the sky, popping the bubbles while damaging Sayaka.
"Now, Simisear, hit her with a Rock Slide!" Danny said. Rocks swirled around Simisear as it shot it at the opponent.

“Double damn. Ellen!” Belinda called out again, noticing the hail starting to leave small scratches on the Excadrill’s body. That chip damage’s gonna snowball real soon...I can’t have her out there too long. “If you can hear me, go for a Rock Slide rain!”

For a brief moment, the Subterrene Pokémon glanced back at her, seemingly having shaken off the confusion for a short second, and pushed herself out of the ground, raising her arms and raining boulders around her before slouching again, eyes sunken and dazed.

@Rockium

"Quick Froslass, ...whichever one you are, dodge it!" While most of the Froslasses were taken out by the attack, it seemed that the real one had barely managed to avoid the attack. But Lena had no time to celebrate, the attack still greatly reduced the number of duplicates, and she knew that the hailstorm wasn't going to last too much longer, noticing that it was starting to lighten up. Lena called out to the small amount of remaining Froslasses "We don't have much time, use Blizzard!" She was hoping that the diminishing hailstorm would, even slightly, cover up which one used the attack.

@Acrobatic Crobat

Arrow then came to a realisation. He had noticed how Maya was battling; mostly using its string, and began drawing up a counter-strategy around that, on his tablet.
"Alright Crobat, go up high and use Air Slash again" Arrow commanded.
Crobat flew up, almost to the clouds dropping hail, and used Air Slash.
The move hit the hail cocoon, breaking the webs holding it together, thus breaking it apart.
"Now, go above Maya and use Air Slash once more!" Arrow commanded.
Crobat flew directly above the Long Leg Pokemon and shot a blade of air straight at it.

@LunarArrow

The air blade flew swiftly, catching the hail on its way. With Maya distracted by icy shrapnel coming from destroyed cocoon, she had no way of dodging - and the attack coming from a blind spot exactly over her she couldn't parry it with another glob of webbing, either. Attack hit her square in abdomen, causing her to immediatedly fall.
"Ariados is unable to battle! Crobat wins this round!"
Peter couldn't believe it. It was supposed to be as simple as that - lure Crobat close, stick the icy cocoon to him to prevent him from flying back up and finish him quickly. How could his master plan be turned against him so easily!?
He recalled Maya to her pokeball - after that hit she'd need a long rest. Then another ball appeared in his other hand.
"Acro, show him that we're not done here yet!"
With a flash, female Crobat appeared opposite of Arrow's own.
"Double team! Then Wing Attack!"

@Doctor Celebi

The harsh gust of snow knocked the Excadrill off her feet, sending her flying back towards her trainer’s side of the field; however, this time she seemed to consciously land on her feet. “Ellen, you good, mate?” Belinda asked, noticing the life return to the Subterrene Pokémon’s eyes. Seems that Blizzard was enough to snap her back to reality.

Ellen’s cry of approval further confirmed her suspicions. “Right then, let’s not have that conundrum again - Stealth Rock!”

At once, the Pokémon twirled around, scattering sharp stones around the battlefield.

“Now, a Rock Slide Rain!”

On her command, Ellen fired the boulder barrage up into the air, raining it down upon the Froslass duplicates.

@Rockium

"Quick Froslass, dodge the..." It was too late, one of the boulders hit the real Froslass. Immediately the remaining duplicates disappeared as the real one was knocked out. Though Lena hated seeing her Pokémon faint, she was proud of how much of a fight Froslass was able to put up, despite the disadvantage. "You're pretty strong Belinda!" Lena called out as she recalled Froslass to her pokéball, she shifted her attention to the ball, "You were great out there, get some rest now."

Lena scanned the area, there were jagged stones all over the field, she huffed as she determined that there was no way to avoid them. With a mental apology, she sent out her next Pokémon, Toxapex. The starfish briefly winced as he was scraped by the stones, but attempted to ignore it in order to appear tough. "Alright Toxapex, let's start off with Liquidation!" On cue, Toxapex engulfed himself in water and charged at Ellen.

@Doctor Celebi

“Blast ‘em away with Earthquake!” At once, the Excadrill leaped into the air and drilled at the ground, sending white shockwaves rippling towards the Toxapex.

@Rockium

The Earthquake knocked Toxapex off balance, doing a notable amount of damage and stopping his attack from connecting. Lena knew that sending Toxapex out would be a risk, she would have to be careful with how she continued. She wanted to go in for another attack, but with the rocks around the battlefield and the earthquake, it was better to play it safe. "Toxapex, use Recover!" Toxapex glowed for a brief moment as his injuries were healed. Still, Lena knew that she shouldn't focus on healing the entire time, from both a pragmatic sense and a desire to not bore the audience. She would have to come up with a new strategy.

@Acrobatic Crobat

Arrow knew that to use Wing Attack, a Pokemon would need to charge at its target, so he decided to use that to his advantage.

As Acro and its copies came closer to Crobat, Arrow exclaimed, "Dodge upward and use Cross Poison!"

Just as Acro and its copies were about to strike, Crobat flew above them and used Cross Poison, getting rid of most of Acro's copies in the process.

@LunarArrow
It was no good. Crobat could easily dodge any ranged attack, and limited mobility when flying at high speed meant there was no way for charging attacks to hit either. Something else had to be done.
"Acro, keep your distance and don't let him hit you with Air Cutter! If you can dodge, dodge. If you can't, parry with your own!" He had to force Arrow to make the first move. Hopefuly remaining copies will give him advantage.
