Well we know the games will be released on a Sunday. I looked at my calendar for September and looked at all the Sundays in September.
September 2nd 2012
September 9th 2012
September 16th 2012
September 23rd 2012
September 30th 2012
What if the games were released on September 2nd 2012?
It's exactly three months after the Japanese release, and it's the day before Labor Day which would be an extra day for the weekend.
I don't understand this mindset, although you're probably just quoting other people. "The next best thing?" Although we don't know anything substantial about the games yet, it is pretty much guaranteed that they will have more new content than a third version would, so where is the drawback?I also don't get why people are considering these as a 3rd version split into two. It's pretty obvious that there's certain parts in Black and White that you cannot combine for a 3rd version, and so the next best thing for them to do is make a sequel for each of the versions instead.
Games have been released in the not so exact seasons before. In August 2009, Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver were confirmed for a Spring 2010 release, they were released on March 14th 2010. 7 days before Spring officially began. In May 2010, Pokemon Black and White were confirmed for a Spring 2011 release, then they were released on March 6th 2011. That was 15 days before it was officially Spring. So the release of the games doesn't really depend on the exact date of the season, just as long as it's in the month of the season when the games are going to be released.Well we know the games will be released on a Sunday. I'm not sure about seasons in the US, but here Autumn doesn't officially start until the 21st of the month. So September 23rd is probably the earliest if US and EU are released at the same time, but who knows your Labour Day prediction may come true and you might get it a few weeks before us.
Woo-Hoo! Makes me actually want to enjoy life now. What will they do about Worlds VGC though since the Japanese could already have Black/White 2?

Think he mixed his words up and meant to say this is the obvious route to got, in terms of the storylines.
You'd think they'd wait until next year, with the process of translation and all...
XD was translated the fastest, the very first English screens were released two days before the Japanese release in August 2004, and exactly two months later, XD was out in October, making it the quickest waiting time between the Japan and US release of a Pokemon game on record, of course, this is possibly because the translation team probably started the translation early
That's what I think too. Pokemon games release dates are revealed 3 months before they're released. A release date reveal in June would put us for a September release in the US.I'm thinking a US release date reveal at E3 2012!![]()
