Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl receive bug fix update with Version 1.1.2

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl have received an update to software Ver. 1.1.2. This update resolves several gameplay bugs and issues. Players are advised to download the update before continuing playing.

Complete these steps to download the update:
  • Connect the Nintendo Switch console to the internet.
  • Return to the HOME Menu and launch the game.
  • The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
  • Once the update is installed, the newest version number will be displayed on the title screen.
Official changelog said:
Ver. 1.1.2 (Releasing December 1, 2021)
  • Fixed some issues that would prevent the game from progressing under certain circumstances.
  • Some issues have also been fixed for more pleasant gameplay.

Advised by who? And more pleasant gameplay? Pft, don't make me laugh, Nintendo. :)

Probably good to specify rather than parrot them: this fixes menu storage (one of them) and maybe surf on land. If that's unpleasant for you, don't update - remember, you can turn it off in System Settings of your Switch.
