Pokémon Café Mix to be renamed Pokémon Café ReMix; new features also announced

During the Pokémon Presents presentation on Wednesday, it was announced that Pokémon Café Mix, the touch-based free-to-start puzzle game for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, will be revamped this fall, and a new name has been announced: Pokémon Café ReMix (Japanese: ようこそ！ポケモンカフェ ～まぜまぜパズル～ Welcome! Pokémon Café ~Mixing Puzzles~ or ポケまぜ Poké Maze for short).

Updates will include new refreshed puzzles, new puzzle elements, more Pokémon, new dress-up options, and more ways of growing and developing staff Pokémon.

Here are three major points of the renewal:

A new game cycle for collecting and raising Pokémon
Get along with many Pokémon and liven up the café together. As the Pokémon's friendship level goes up, their Skills will improve, and it will be easier to clear the puzzles. The ability to combine Megaphones to make them more powerful will be added.

New gimmick to increase the excitement of clearing puzzles
A new Unique Gimmick (translated name) will be added, so you can clear other Gimmicks and clear the Order faster.

New Pokémon and costumes are also available
Pokémon who haven't appeared before in the game will be added, where they can join as Staff. Pokémon will also be able to dress-up. Pokémon are now able to eat the delicious meals prepared for them, making them more friendly and more willing to become Staff Pokémon.

All Golden Acorns that you've collected in Pokémon Café Mix will be transferable to Pokémon Café ReMix. The exact release date of the revamp will be announced at a later date.
