Continuing its rampage through the battlefield, Darth's Typhlosion closed in on ExLight's Meganium. Dodging multiple Razor Leaves, it pounced the enemy with Quick Attack. The Herb Pokemon, having barely dodged, used on of its Vine Whips to grab Typhlosion's ankle and pull it down - just as it prepared a powerful Lava Plume attack, which ended up going off right in shiny's face.

ExLight decided to take advantage of the dangerous enemy briefly going down. Ordering the shiny Typhlosion to attack, trainer hoped to mount a counter offensive.
Shiny Typhlosion started by firing a Smokescreen in its opponent's face. Still trying to get out of the tangled Vine Whip, Darth's Pokemon had no way of avoiding the rising smoke. Then, from the darkness, a Shadow Claw came. Then another and another. Soon the non-shiny Volcano Pokemon fell, using one last Inferno attack in hope of also taking down its assailant - but instead hitting the nearby Chikorita.

As eyes of Typhlosion and Sceptile met, the Pokemon around stopped in their tracks. Two formidable battlers stood opposite of each other, both waiting for the other to make the first move. On one side, large and powerful badger; on the other, agile, deadly reptile.
Finally, Grass Pokemon made a step forward. A scythe-like Leaf Blade extended from its wrist and it started walking slowly, picking up the pace, running. Seeing this, Typhlosion went straight into a Flame Charge attack. The two passed each other, Leaf Blade leaving clear mark on Typhlosion's face and Flame Charge scorching Sceptile's body. Both stopped to a halt, standing for a moment... and then, with a smile, Sceptile fell.
